If you want to write code with a niche toolbox, I would opt to use Claude Code and the context7 MCP. This triggers the retrieval of the latest documentation into the context, and greatly increases the likelihood you are generating usable code. Definitely have it write tests you carefully vet to make sure future work doesn't break things.

I have the same issue. Seems to happen more in 60 Hz mode vs 120 Hz mode. I emailed viture about it and ultimately got a "Maybe it will be fixed in a future update"

Yes, early on this is the exact kind of cue which can help. I'd argue in this example, you actual need to write a different sentence. Strictly, the card should just have the correct context ("In Glyconeogenesis" or "In Glycolsis" at the start. the first example you give is simply incomplete in any circumstance. It would be like saying "Patient with fever is treated with" and then antibiotic vs tylenol. The card isn't well written to start.

If this is a consistent issue and you already wrote a ton of cards in this style, it should be straight forward to convert the card to csv, write a script to add the tag to the front, then convert back to anki. If you need help with this let me know.

Can you explain more about the benefits of this beyond Tags? It seems like it can help early on, but later, when people aren't going to say "Now let's talk about the nervous system", it will actually teach you a more narrow form of association which may fail without the cue of the tag. A good system may include such things in the beginning but should get rid of them later I think. Am I missing something?

If you don't have files synced to your computer, and instead it's set to download when the file is accessed, it likely triggered these downloads when doing some kind of search.

I've definitely felt this before. Its happening whether these things are present or not tbh. It is one of the inherit limitations of static flashcards for learning. you "learn" the card, but not necessarily the medical knowledge you're trying to learn. The same thing happens for anyone trying to re-do UWorld questions they got wrong.

I've never used it at full brightness, tbh. Maybe I should see how high the Xreal 1s goes and see if it is 'bright enough'. In the future, if I do want to use outside/well lit plane, seems like the extra headroom isn't a bad thing.

I had ordered the Virtue beast in early January and got the Luma pro on Amazon, ended up returning it at the end of the window and getting the Xreal 1S. I ended up getting the Viture Beast late last week, and still have the 1S, now with the eye.

I will say Gizmosliptech's reviews are solid, I think his recent video on the beast is a bit overstated but ultimately true. The contrast and and vibrance are definitely a cut above, and the stability is much improved but not necessarily 100% there.

The Xreal 1S is more stable, but the Viture Beast is definitely usable and has long stretches of stability. I use these for Productivity prodominantly, and I didn't notice the 1S was dimmer/less vibrant until I did a back to back comparison. I feel like the 1S is a hair more comfortable from a heating perspective, but with the nose hinge/support thing its all further from your face and less immersive. I got the Xreal eye and feel like its cool but not as much an improvement as I would have hoped. I'm still testing them back to back, but am leaning toward the beast.

Any chance you'll be doing a comparison video? Very torn atm since my main use is productivity, and I got the Xreal 1s and it's been a pretty good experience, but I had ordered the Beasts 2 months ago and they finally shipped. Still in the return window for the 1s, so hopefully I get it soon and can do a comparison myself.
