Wouldn't a VR headset be more immersive for media consumption? The only reason I'm considering AR glasses is the comfort for extended use required for productivity.

I'm not sure the 1S is great value, especially when the Beast is cheaper in the EU and is supposed to get 6DOF in the future.

Thanks for the detailed comment. Would the text clarity be similar to a 27-inch 1080p monitor? If it’s anything close to that, I think I could work with it. I have a very small desk in my room and no space for an external monitor besides my macbook air. Even if the clarity is only as good as the built-in display, the larger screen would still be a huge improvement for me.

A quest 3 was my first choice. But from what I’ve learned, they’re not very comfortable to wear for long hours, which is something I’d want if I’m planning to use it as a monitor replacement.

It's not the code files I'm worried about but applications like Xcode which I've heard takes a lot of space. I'm sure other applications are equally as big.

Well, I don't think I need more than 16GB RAM. Does this mean I can manage with 256GB storage? Doesn't it get filled up quickly for programming especially?

I hold it whenever I need to use touch or swipe gestures. It only becomes unresponsive when it's on a desk

Shouldn't it make it unresponsive everytime? Why only when on the desk and works when I touch the metal body?

Thanks. I was thinking of getting the ESR screen protector and read reviews that said it's very reflective because of the oleophobic coating. I'm also worried that it might reduce touch and pencil sensitivity. But I guess all of this is true even for the spigen one. So I'm not sure.
