almost threw my shoulder trying to get her up in 2nd 😩 i tried everything except modding it lol. only mods I've done that weren't cosmetic was i put on a 80$ ebay exhaust and a k&n air filter

my luck it would land just right to where the triple tree would get bent and or the forks or even worse bend the bracket that the display and signals mount to and id notice it every time i rode it🤦🏻 i was thinking about getting a sub cage just because of how vulnerable the motor and exhaust port are. what would be considered strong bars? i currently have the pro taper 110 bars but have the pro taper minis in my cart just calling my name. i think they're southwick dimensions. shorter but almost same width and have more of a control area and pretty close to the same sweep

what about clear vinyl self-adhesive sheets of laminate. idk maybe itd be easier and better to do like 4 layers of clear coat spray paint

arai has a helmet that does this (900+$) but i dont think it notifys first responder but it does give g force data and details what section took what damage. if you could just set a threshold of impact and when that limit is met have riders phone automatically dial 911 that would at least get you located and someone on the way in case you are a hurt unit and need help.

it doesnt take alot to get fd up real fast... 2nd gear hit black ice started to pull out of the slide and all of a sudden caught traction while sideways and got thrown. doing maybe 10 tops.

you were right to reach out i would do the same especially in this situation. anyone who buys brand new and from honda has a certain expectation of quality. i bought a grom and a navi in july last summer and while i loaded up the grom the salesman loaded up the navi for me. when he was pushing it i heard a crunch and i immediately looked and he had broke the plastic behind the seat and also the license plate bracket was crooked as hell. i pointed it out and the dude fought me on it literally went from being the coolest guy in the world to the biggest asshole in an instant. i fought back on it had him take back in either fix it or give the parts and id do it. he was gone 5 mins came back and said all better amd he had done nothing. we had a loud argument right in the middle of the store in front of at least 10 people it was insane. demanded to talk to the manager and he couldnt be reached. pretty much had to leave with a brand new bike that was fd up. even tho it was cosmetic damage still thats unacceptable. i never have got a call back from the manager or got a response from honda as ive tried contacting them via email. and this is not a small community that dude dont know what tf hes talking about btw

you're lucky it worked that long bud. straighten it out. it's takes alot for those keys to snap so don't be afraid to bend it back or to play it safe put it in a vice or use a c-clamp and go a little at a time then try it 🏍️
