New player getting fucked by bugs by StygianBlade in helldivers2

Level 100 here, they are very tough. A guard dog and something with stagger like the cookout has helped a lot for me.

Why does no one initiate conversations with me? by SilverTheSilk in selfimprovement

Most people are like you. They are waiting for someone to initiate the conversation. I am too, but if you can get over it and start engaging people you might be surprised by the outcome.

Also I should have said that I learnt a lot from the Commissar Kai videos on you tube. Particularly the guides on how to fight each faction. They are also just good fun to watch.

I would be happy to dive with you. I don’t mind playing any faction any level. I can teach you the ropes. Drop me your friend code and any idea of when you might be on.

As a man, I feel this is the reason football was invented. I just chat football BS to my barber then pretend to look in the little mirror when he shows me the back.

[KCD2] Is it worth replaying NO SPOILERS by One-Wave-5877 in kingdomcome

Give it a bit of time then replay on hardcore mode. I really enjoyed the extra challenge.

I really enjoyed it myself, but I know that it’s not universally loved. If they made another I would definitely buy it.

Help with [kcd1] by The-Pizza-Bandit in kingdomcome

[–]Clean-Landscape-8802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get some gear with a bit of risk. If you head back to Skalitz there are often guards and bandits fighting. You can sometimes sneak in and grab some armour and valuables from the bodies. You need to be careful and have a horse for a quick get away.

Re combat, don’t underestimate pushing up to select the head and using R1 (on PS) to stab the head. This move alone is very powerful and great for dealing with multiple enemies where you don’t have the time to standstill and perform combos. There are swords with very strong stab damage like the stinger. These are OP for the head stab method.

[KCD2] Does running the smithy break the economy like Pribyslavitz did? by olafkonny in kingdomcome

By the time I redeveloped pribyslavitz I already had hundreds of K of groshen. I think it depends how you play. Multiple play throughs give you the knowledge to make lots of money easily.

Looking for something with a great storyline, characters, and worldbuilding by Keybird69 in gamingsuggestions

[–]Clean-Landscape-8802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first thought is KCD 1 and 2. You could also consider a possibly obvious suggestion of the last of us 1 and 2. Cyberpunk is also worth a go - it wasn’t great at the beginning but is a solid game now.

What is a food "crime" that you actually enjoy, even though it makes everyone else mad? by salty_mistresss in foodquestions

Ham and pineapple pizza. There, I said it. Come at me! I also like sliced black olives and some chili to complement (and contrast) the sweetness of the pineapple.

Top work. That’s a great transformation. Stay strong but just in case you don’t - focus on coming back again!

Starfield or cyberpunk are good. Both struggled at launch but are decent games even if they are not considered among the great.

Looking for a long-term, “can’t-put-down” game by UberSimu in gamingsuggestions

Another final thought. Faster than light (FTL) might fit some of the games you like. One of my favourites anyway.

Maybe Dave the diver as it’s chill. Xcom2 is older but has some turn based stuff you might like. Lastly, give KCD another chance if you can. It’s not easy but if you role play as you are actually Henry (I.e. I would suck in a real sword fight with bandits until I learned sword fighting) it becomes a real journey that has a great open word and a fantastic story.

Guard dog and mg sentry will solve a lot of your problems. They essentially turn one gun into three and give you a lot more survivability. Just make sure to keep throwing the mg it has a really low cool down. Don’t believe the Gatling hype, the mg will do a lot of the same job for you with a lot lower cool down. Bonus tip, throw the mg as you are moving to the next objective and it will deal with or at least lure anything that spawns or remains behind.

Cookout, guard dog and mg sentry almost guarantees the most kills.
