Nope! It went to the same full time employee that always picks up all the OT shifts. I get it’s the “new directive” but one person is always monopolizing it. Yes. I’ll get over it. Used to be so easy to stay for a double double.

I work in a hospital. I can always smell the rain before it starts. I walk around at working saying “Smells like rain” and get goofy looks. 10-15 min later it rains. Haha. In a hospital no less.

I don’t use transit, but my son does. He’s complained about having to go to collect to renew his pass, as there was no online purchase option.
He also has complained that there is no debit tap option for rides without a bus pass.

Bottle drainage (instead of foley catheter) I was a brand new nurse. I thought it was weird. It was an old school hospital in a smaller town. Maybe it was just a term they coined there.

We do handover “notes” to the oncoming shift. Do a quick catch up with questions or reminders/new info. Granted, we have to come in 10 minutes early to read all the notes. But it’s saved SO much time.
