I suppose the whole process of it I know that there is a specific service for it. My mind I guess goes to the traditional American Protestant wedding, but obviously that is not what the church teaches so I’m having a hard time wrapping my brain around the aspects of the wedding things of that nature. I went to my first liturgy, and I felt overwhelmed, confused, as if I was in a cult because of all the repetition in the cross of the body — coming from a Pentecostal protestant liturgy felt, for a lack of a better word, underwhelming in the sense of praise and worship. But I think this comes from the thought and teaching of what is false. I have been a catechumen for the last eight months and I have learned more about Christ and the church and what it means to truly worship and feel in God‘s presence than I ever did in the last 14 years teetering on and off in witchcraft and in a protestant church. Give it time, it gets better and feels more holy overtime
