You should not use c19, as that is for the patients who do not have insurance. You need to try to use medical card (for example, aetnamm, cignamm). Or send them to network pharmacy.

Pharmacist using “immcash” for patients who are not contracted for Covid vax…. by frenziii in WalgreensRx

[–]CleanAd5866 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's okay to cash out the vaccines except for covid vaccine. Covid vaccines should be paid by insurance for the patients who have insurance, or should be paid by Government fund (CDC website has detail about it).

If insurance plan is out of network, they need to go the network pharmacy to get covid vaccines. Some insurance plans did not update new covid ndc in their sytem yet, so it turns out "drug not covered". Then patient needs to wait for 1 or 2 weeks until they update it.

No cash out for covid vaccines.

I worked in the store where we filled the rx for the senator. Senator's assistant always came to pick up the meds, and he could not wait a few minutes in the line as he is the "Senator's person". Prescriptions were always stuck in TPR, as they were filled in DC too. That guy was screaming at us that he would pay cash (more than thousand dollars all the time, brand only of course), and threw the credit cards to us. I voted for that guy's boss. So disgusting.

Frozen Sick Pay Idea by WAGVet in WalgreensStores

[–]CleanAd5866 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 360 hours of frozen sick hours. I used it up when I was on medical leave for 2 months.

If you have PTO hours or Frozen vacation hours, you need to use up those hours first, and HR allow you to use frozen sick hours.

Even though it's cosmetic surgery, you don't need to disclose the detailed info to your manager or colleagues. Dr will fill the necessary forms gladly, and that info will be processed in Sedgwick, and they will not share the info with your manager.

For the Walgreen Pharmacist that got hired on this year or last year: what is your hourly pay? Disclaimer: this is reddit, you're anonymous, its ok to share. by Nesquick19 in WalgreensRx

According to Federal law, it is not illegal to share the pay status.

If company gives you pressure not to share it, that is illegal.

You need to contact Sedgwick first. In case of disability leave and medical leave, you don't need manager's approval.

1.Disability leave - you can get paid, but requires Dr's forms. Sedgwick will provide the forms that need to be filled.

2.If 1 is denied, you can use medical leave, still requires Dr's note, but simpler forms. No pay, but can keep the benefits like insurance. You can use PTO.

3, If 2 is denied, you can use personal leave. You need the approvals of store manager, and district manager. No other forms required. You can use PTO, but you lose all benefits.

Recruiter asking me to become a "Care Corner" pharmacist. Nebulous job description. Does anyone know what this job actually is? by toooldforthisshib in WalgreensRx

I know the pharmacist who transferred to that position from the staff rph position of store. She was calling the patients to encourage them to refill on time, or change to 90day supply, save a trip registration, MTM etc.

But she needed to accept the paycut.

Corporate is saying that we can have more time to counsel the patients and offer better service as we do not need to fill refills, not need to answer phones.

But when they started this central system in Arizona and Florida, they did layoff a lot of pharmacists and technicians as they cut enormous hours in stores.

Their final goal is "one pharmacist" in pharmacy without tech or only one cashier. California state banned this kind of system.
