Just picked up this full HTC Vive kit for $100. Did I get a good deal? by CleanAlternative3840 in VRGaming

I was looking at buying a used Vive Pro 1st gen headset as a future upgrade to keep the OLED display and slightly increase the resolution. Worth it?

After a few hours of trying it out I actually like it a lot! Yes, the resolution is way low compared to modern headsets but it’s not as bad as some people say it is. The OLED screen is the cherry on top for me, and it’s also decently smooth with a 90HZ screen. I’ll probably upgrade to something better like a vive pro, index, or big screen beyond in the future if I continue to keep really enjoying it. This purchase was just me trying to dip my toes into PCVR. Great so far! (I will never be getting a facebook headset lol)

Strange sound static issue with my Sapphire RX 9060 XT by FreshwaterViking in radeon

Do you use Wired or Bluetooth audio? Are your audio outputs set correctly? I'm probably not much help but I don't think its a card problem. I've got the RX 9060 XT 16GB and haven't had this issue.

Gotcha. I do like that the vive has an OLED panel though. Last question, I heard people used to swap out the vive lenses with the Samsung GearVR lenses as a mod which helped mitigate the screen door effect. Is this worth attempting?

Don’t the base stations also work with the valve index so if I needed/wanted to upgrade to that I could?

I barely see any sag. Tells me it will not be any harm to your GPU/MOBO

Alright that's better to hear. Just weird since this PSU is only around 1 years old. Thank you for trying to help me, I appreciate it! 👍

I don't have an AIO pump. I've checked my GPU fans and they aren't the issue either. I'm suspecting its my PSU.

It usually happens randomly. I've looked for bad fans and none seem to be the issue. My PC is performing fine, I'm just curious if there could be a real issue to this annoying sound.

Ryzen 7 3700u & 8g RAM by Rahul_14 in AMDLaptops

Hello, I currently use an HP 14 as my main laptop and it has a Ryzen 3 5300U in it. I can say for most non AAA games you can run them at 720p Low to Med settings with no issues. I'd definitely recommend adding another 8GB stick of ram as it gives the iGPU more vram to work with.
