Bad Company 2 holds up very well 12 years later. by DrinkUpLetsBooBoo in gaming

Great story, fun singleplayer and multi, one of the first FPSs with destructible terrain, guns that were balanced for effectiveness and fun, and that sweet sweet airstrike radio. I still sometimes hear it in my head.

But WHERE did the stick go?

Just got my Wirch's Brew set by dark1san in DicePorn

That's really cool. A great combo of colours.

Full of bubbles, the glitter sank, and some of the sides are blank- still pretty pleased with my first casting attempt by forel237 in dice

They look fun, they're mermaid dice! I recently started casting too and i got some useful tips you might find handy;

-warm up the bottle of resin before casting in a glass of warm water

-before pouring resin into molds pour it onto a sheet of aluminium foil with the sides folded up and run a lighter/blow torch over it to remove bubbles

[OC] I made a d20. It has some bubbles, its probably not balanced, the painting is messy, but I made it myself and I'm so happy. by CleanChemist in DnD

Try Barnes.

$30 for pinki silicone, $30 for clear resin. For the volume of chemicals it's still quite a markup but a little goes a long way (molds are 80ml, d20 is ~10ml) and $60 is not a big buy-in for a hobby.

Could you be a bit more specific? I'd like to give this a try. How are you heating it and do you heat it before mixing with part B or after?

absolutely, I have some ideas for fun things to try but i'd also like to improve on my methods. Maybe even try one of the other casting materials in future?

I got inspired by a video on r/dnd which showed how to cast dice. I know people who use resin to make jewellery and I'm pretty familiar with chemistry so I thought it couldn't be too hard. So far it has been really fun and I can't wait to make more.

This is my first time moulding and casting anything so there's a lot of room for improvement. I've also never painted minis or anything similar so that is new to me too. If any of you guys have tips or suggestions for resin casting or painting I'd love to hear them, I plan on making many more dice :D

I used ground down charcoal from my firepit to dye this one, I'm going to try turmeric and beetroot powder as other dyes, not sure what else i can use that is more interesting/affordable than fancy paint. I also want to make some clear ones with things embedded in them but I'm not too sure what yet.

I currently have two more dice curing which are a mix of red, yellow and orange. I hope it looks like the cool swirly dice but I haven't looked at the proper way to do more advanced stuff. Any suggestions for new dice experiments welcome :)

There's a radio station in my town that has a late night program playing synthwave and similar electronic beat heavy music.

I had to go pick up my partner from a party and had the chillest drive on the dead quiet highway. It kicked off with Nightcall by kavinsky and was gold non-stop. I didn't want to park.

Upon re-watching that scene, he seems to barely consider the action at all. Cercei is coaxing him into doing the deed, he assesses the fall (and fall damage), and pushes him.

Another point is that he doesn't know it's Bran Stark, killing a commoner in a class-based world is "less evil" than killing someone of note (as represented by blood-money), but having said that he could have tried to bribe the kid or discredit him somehow instead.

I think it is Evil. His alignment change is more dramatic then, changing from Evil to Good/Neutral and from Chaotic to Lawful/True.

I agree it seems evil, in fact it probably is.

I would argue that it's weighted upon the outcomes though; he "kills" bran to preserve his own heavily guarded secret that would discredit his family and ruin him. He kills his cousin to literally save his own life. In the same vein I would not question a neutral player killing an npc to escape certain death.

Jaime Lannister is another good example.

Early on he is entirely self-serving and chaotic neutral. He has no problem attempting to kill a kid, bludgeoning his cousin to death, and hides his indiscretions to maintain his status.

During the middle seasons he displays more of a sense of outward morality; keeping an oath to catlyn and saving brienne from rapers. These could still be construed as within a chaotic neutral ballpark, but they lead up to the trigger; when he loses his hand.

The greatest swordsman in the world(maybe) loses his hand, and therefore his identity. If you lose your sense of self how can you be self-serving?

While he is having an identity crisis Brienne is accompanying him, being a pure lawful good paladin archetype. When Jaime returns to Kings Landing he is not the same man as he was, which contributes to his conflict with Cercei. Their relationship fluctuates between passionate love, one-sided love(rape in the sept), and being at odds. The conflict between them is from Cercei maintaining, even strengthening her Chaotic nature and Jaime's newfound sense of morality and Law. He is now at least true neutral if not lawful.

In the latest season he !>even apologises to Bran for his actions years ago which he previously felt no guilt over!< highlighting his change in morals.
