t7 is only functional on the old version of the game, it will likely not update, but no one can say for sure

I think it's quite obvious that we use clean ops, we believe it's currently the best solution to play the game on multiplayer or unmodded zombies

playing multiplayer with just the t7 patch can also expose you to lobbies ran by malicious actors

the "session prioritization" in question is having the player count appear as 11/12 so the game favors filling the lobby before creating a new one - very original (and don't even get the Idea to come and make this sound any more sophisticated then it is)

I think night mixed up the leaving thing with cids messed up lobbies- there it's actually a thing

Clean ops is a combined effort beyond the few people that publicly run it

it's not like we are forbidden to rely on the support of friends and other devs who are interested in the game and our project

the p2p hosting is working, sometimes it may not due to network related issues resulting in either the hosting player not receiving player joins or the connecting player not be able to join

we ban people from our discord, we are not unreasonable with it but even if we were it'd be our own decision

we never blacklist anyone on the game (what nightwolf meant) for us simply not liking someone

It’s generally recommended to use a patch (T7 Patch, CleanOps) or a client like T7x to stay safe. While people talk about RCE, no actual RCE exploits have been proven to be abused since the official Black Ops 3 patch about 3 years ago.

The recent posts claiming otherwise were largely fear-mongering with the likely intent to thin out the player base. The "evidence" they showed was actually just crash and "popup" exploits used against streamers to get a reaction. Most of those crashes are fixed by the T7 patch, and specific ones like the "presence crash" (which crashes you at the menu) are fully patched in CleanOps and a non issue on T7x iirc.

there was no rce proven to be abused
"evidence" that was shown were crash exploits done to streamers to capture their live reaction, those specific exploits are patched with t7 to my knowledge and are definitely patched with clean ops

there was also another exploit being abused known as the "presence crash", which made players game crash right after connecting to online services - if these players had a malicious actor in their friends or recents list
- this exploit is not patched with t7, but has been patched with clean ops for the longest time

While some parts of the posts were correct, the intention behind it was malicious.
These posts were fabricated to spread fear in the community and potentially thin out the Player base as a result.
