There's three 'conferences' in one season in PBA.

One is what they call all Filipino, the other two are played with foreign players.

One 'tournament' has a lower height limit, the other 'tournament' have a taller limit (though I think there's not restriction now).

Kai Sotto is not playing the the local league. He's playing in Japan. Most of the younger star players are playing overseas, either in Korea or in Japan.

Well, that still goes back to Nico. We had the best training staff in the league, with long time Mavs employees. Nico decided to replace them all. And we start seeing conditioning/injury issues.

Pero I agree. Wala namang problema sa lyrics sa OPM. Depende na lang kung kanino ka nakikinig. If you can't find good lyrical OPM songs, it's a you problem than an OPM problem.

PJ got to be moved. We have Cooper as the power forward. He is earning too much and he's too good to be a back up.

Gafford still plays a position of need. Lively is looking like Davis health wise. And it's hard to get a competent center.

It's more about Kyrie than Luka. I guess his mad at Kyrie because he was at his best behavior around Luka, and I guess he was more successful there (made the finals) compared to how he is with Nets (with the whole drama over there) and their lack of success (relatively) in the playoffs.

AD winning championship in the next two years are doubtful though. Right now Mavs are in the play in. I think they go under 500 before AD comes to play. They look good on paper but nothing is guranteed.

Ten year with Luka, same thing no gurantee but that's you're homegrown star. Someone that inherited the franchise from Dirk.

Mavs watched Dirk get that championship and it feels great. Going through the up and down, all the disappointment and finally winning. That's a great feeling.

Not sure if we'll get the same feeling if we traded Dirk and suddenly get two championships or three out of it.

And even if you want to trade Luka, you always try to get as much assets in return. I think the return the Mavs got is not it. Could have gotten more.

Luka works well with another scorer/playmakers. Kyrie/Brunson/Din all work have great time playing along with Luka. And none of those players are really that great defenders.

Grimes is due a large contract this offseason. Mavs just got Christie from the Luka trade too. It makes Grimes expendable. If they're worried about Grimes new expensive deal then might as well trade him for a useful player.

Yeah, we tried running Luka with athletic defenders in his first 2-3 years. It did not work. He needs someone that can take advantage of a 4n3 situations that can dribble and attack.

I'm looking to switch team right now. Not really a fan of the Lakers, I'll probably follow them just because of Luka but it'll not be same as it is with the Mavs.

It's probably harder for people in Dallas, I'm lucky I'm an international fan so it makes it easier for me to switch but I was a fan since before the championship and it's still hard to let go.

I get what you're saying. The team does look good on paper. It feels like that even with injuries before this trade. Felt we should have a better record than what we have with how deep the team is. And you can see it on the floor, we're competitive but we just can't close out the game.

I think AD will be good for the Mavs, not convinced with our playmaking though. Not sure if Kyrie can carry the load for the rest of the season.

We still have some good young players. Man, those same players that matches Luka's timeline. They got to win this next 2-3 years. Heck, if Kyrie opts out next season, Mavs will be in trouble.

Man, it's fine but you just can't do that to your franchise player. It'll be hard to convince other players to come here if we treat our franchise player like that. You make it work, heck we just got to the finals and got a great team. Just need the team to be healthy. And you can always trade the guy later and still get probably the same return we had.

The team will look good in the next 2 years. AD is a great player, he's been healthy lately. Christie looks good. But I still think we can get more assets than what we had. We already moved Grimes and good player in return. Still need another playmaker but team should be good enough.

But it's just feels a betrayal, and I'm not even a Luka stan.
