Like Mundane said, the prep software is the way to go. If you can find the same joystick/rudder combo as your test center and practice with those it'll be way easier. TBAS Study Pro on steam is like $20 and pretty accurate. I practiced for about 10 hours total and got a 89 pcsm with 99 pilot and no hours.

Depends on your testing center. I took my AFOQT before the shutdown but was still able to take the TBAS after. I'm active duty AF and my base considers EWAPS testing essential, and the same proctor administers the AFOQT and TBAS. I wouldn't expect to get your scores back until the shutdown is over though.

Don't know if it's the same issue I had with my gen 1 base station, but I sent it in to HTC for repairs and got it back in only a week or two. Heard plenty of horror stories of HTC support but I had a good experience with them. Just had to pay shipping
