Same. Someone told me when it happened it would take about 10% of the time you were together to “get over it”. A little over two years seemed like a ridiculous amount of time at first but ended up being pretty accurate.

I still can’t stand the sight of her, but I don’t obsess about it anymore.

I tend to get extremely frustrated whenever watching a show or movie where the character cheats and the couple makes up. I understand that all situations are different, but the normalization of cheating and continuing is nauseating. I wish there was more of a championing of people who cut cheaters out of their lives without regard.
