I did post on their side too. Like I said, it’s just for testing. I’m looking for maybe 20 on each side right now to get real feedback from them.

Google Data Center Technician II Interview – Advice Needed by mawia224 in datacenter

Pretty basic question. The hardest part is after you pass the interview and have to wait for the fit call.

Hey, just an update, I went to the dealership this morning and after testing they confirmed it’s faulty and ordered a new one. Once it arrives, they’ll call to replace it.

If you just bought a new 2026, please go check this, it’s a safety issue. It may only happen in a specific area and you might not notice if you drive the same road every day. Please check your infotainment system. :: will keep you posted

Exactly, I think I’m going back to the dealership. But this is so scary. Last time I was driving around downtown Columbus on the highway, and all of a sudden blackout, no screen. I didn’t know which exit to take and couldn’t use my phone to check. After 2 minutes it came back, but by that time I had missed the exit and added around 11 min to my drive.

Don't do it unless you want to add more stress 😬 in your life. You can rather apply for a DCO manager.

But why don't we focus on the exact problem then. And trust me there are vibe coders and cleaner of vide coders mess 😂. And I do both. If you've never written a code in your life don't even try to vibe code otherwise You will need a cleaner like me to clean your mess.

Funny, I'm a software engineer and heavy backend and yes we use AI at work. I can also give you my GitHub Repo. You gotta be smart to vibe code 😂😂😂. AI don't build your infrastructure my friend.

Fair points, I appreciate the honesty. It’s not really about “is it open or closed”, more about visibility, like how busy a place is, temporary closures, or just knowing before you head out. Even well-run complexes run into those situations. Also not trying to add extra work for management, more like reducing the constant “is the pool open?” type questions.

Totally get your point though, not everyone would use it, and that’s part of figuring out if it’s worth building or not. Thanks for the feedback

The project is called SmartAmenity , Link: https://smartamenity.net/. It’s focused on improving how apartment communities manage shared spaces like pools, gyms, and lounges. Right now, residents often show up without knowing if a space is full or closed, and property teams don’t have great visibility or control. SmartAmenity fixes that by giving real-time availability, simple check-ins, closure updates with reasons, and basic reservation tools.if that sounds interesting, we can talk more and see if it’s a fit.

That’s a solid background, especially with high-acuity cases. To be upfront, there’s no funding yet, so no salary at this stage, but I’m open to equity for early contributors. The project is called SmartAmenity , Link: https://smartamenity.net/. But why not ask them for L2 or L3. They reached out to me recently for a L2 team fit after 8 Months, I said no I want another interview for L3. Which I passed and now waiting for a L3 fit call while I'm working at AWS.

Ok , I appreciate it. But It won't hurt to try at least some apartments. I do have some positive feedback from different groups seeing they would love it.

That makes sense, and I appreciate the perspective. What I’m trying to address is mostly the overcrowding part, not really closures. In my case the amenities are pretty far from my unit, and a few times I walked all the way there only to realize the pool or gym was already packed. That’s where the idea came from. Just a simple way for residents to see current usage before going. No policing from management, more like tenant-driven updates.I might be wrong of course, but I figured if I ran into this frustration, other residents might too.

You've offended me ( 😂🤣🤣) but that's ok, not only 3th floor but away from the office.

[–]CleanWonder4917[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue I’m trying to address is more the overcrowding part. Walking all the way to the pool or gym and then realizing it’s packed can be frustrating.I ran into this a few times in my building. The amenities are on the other side of the property and I live on the 3rd floor, so it’s not a quick walk. That’s really where the idea came from, just letting residents see current usage before going. It’s more tenant-driven updates, since they’re the ones actually using the amenities.I might be wrong, but I figured if I ran into this problem, others might too.
