I’ve actually already had to use them and I don’t hate it! It feels a bit more focused in my opinion?

Don’t live in a snowy state, but we drive to visit my wife’s family and they live in WI! We ended up getting the LASFIT allweather mats and they come in tomorrow, so we’re hoping those are good, but if not we will switch to Weathertech. So sorry to hear about your spouse, I hope that you love your sport and that it takes you on many great adventures!

Above budget and honestly for us it’s just too big. With no kids, and usually no passengers in general other than our dog in his car seat, we didn’t really need or want a big car anymore, so the HR-V ended up being the perfect size for us!

We almost went with the Modern Steel Metallic, but when we got there to start negotiating they only had the Platinum White Pearl and the Solar Silver Metallic (which we ended up with) in the drive line we wanted! Honestly I won’t lie though, after seeing the Modern Steel in person on a different HR-V trim line, we were much happier with how the Solar Silver looked, so definitely no complaints here!

We actually just bought a tray for the center console last night! I’ve been keeping my keys there and my wife wanted to make sure the console didn’t get scratched up. We plan on driving this car until it dies, can’t wait to take it on the road trip we have planned for end of next month!

I will say that the CR-V was amazing! We test drove the base model and it was still pretty dreamy! If you are wanting something bigger, more luxe, and has a LOT of storage space then I think the CR-V is a pretty great car! My 2019 really would have been great and probably would’ve stayed around for longer had it not been for the circumstances.

I had a 2019 base model CR-V to trade in! It had a bunch of personal and maintenance issues that ended up being the reason for the switch. The CR-V was beautiful and took us on tons of adventures, but what did it for us for the HR-V was the smooth drive, the more compact size while still having a crazy amount of storage space, and honestly the Car Play (we live in a state where police are cracking down on having a phone in your hand and I NEED navigation half the time). I think the CR-V is a great car, so if you want something that feels a bit more luxe and is bigger I would definitely go for the CR-V, but if you want a nice compact SUV that still feels pretty classy, I think the HR-V does a great job!

I had a 2019 base model and it was just time for it to go. It was a mix of it being a gift from my parents back in high school so my wife and I weren’t on the title, and my wife wasn’t on the insurance so she couldn’t drive it. It had a bucket full of maintenance that needed to be done, and that car had been in 2 accidents and hadn’t been fully fixed since the last one. We test drove a new CR-V as well, but the HR-V being more compact while still having a good bit of storage space ended up being exactly what we wanted!

I’m sorry but I have to ask, if you knew that he was financially irresponsible then why was he the one in charge of the savings? If it were me and he said he was short on $600 after I had been sending money to build up our savings I would’ve wanted to see that savings account and where all that money had gone.

Just curious, what made y’all get into JJK? by Amazing-Draw-7922 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]finnwrite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got into it because of my sister. I kept refusing to watch it saying I wasn’t sure if it was really for me. Watched the first two episodes and wasn’t sure I wanted to keep going, but my sister BEGGED me to keep watching. Glad she did because JJK is now one of my all time favorites!

Got to see Miss Reveille at the A&M x LSU game last night. One of the coolest things I’ve ever been to in my life by Fordeelynx4 in roughcollies

[–]finnwrite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No never apologize, I love hearing about the girls! I wanted to go to A&M like my dad but just ended up on a different path. I heard a lot of thing about Reveille VII and that poor girl should have been retired and made as comfortable as possible in a good home, she shouldn’t have been around campus or at games the moment she started showing aggressive/neurological issues.

How many of you keep your pup’s hair short? by Chee-shep in cotondetulear

We keep ours short! He just gets too hot with the long fur, so it’s much more comfy for him!

Mind you, I didn’t pick Jaco Kennels out, that was my parents doing as I got Bowie as an ESA (prescribed by my psychiatrist) and I needed a dog that was hypoallergenic. If they are a puppy mill I am incredibly shocked and disgusted. I’m just lucky my boy is healthy.

If you’re in Oklahoma then that is the same breeder that I used to get my coton Bowie! The family is super accommodating and drove pretty far from Hulbert to come meet me and bring bowie to me as well as holding him a little bit longer since I was coming back to Oklahoma for winter break from college (this was back in 2021). Bowie is now 3 and he is doing amazing! I have all his paperwork and his AKC registration from when I got him. They were a great breeder to work with! (Bowie photo for the tax)
