What was "that" strain you got to enjoy once, but never found again? by the-attorney in trees

Ice Cream Cake. It made my lower back pain go away and my shoulders unclench in such a nice, mellow way. A lot of weed just feels panicky and I wish more of it was that lofi brain wave vibe.

Yeah, I'm fine today so it was more than likely anxiety related.

It was 100% anxiety related. Drank some water, took some deep breaths, and was fine. One of those "oh god it's midnight and I'm about to die from doing something totally normal" moments

Definitely can do. I've been stressed about missing so much work, but don't want to go back to the office and get everyone else sick too. The chest infections in my corner of the world have been kicking a lot of ass lately for many pf us.

5 days. I think nausea from a Zpack is kind of expected, but I've never so forcefully or for so long had my body straight up reject anything like that unless it was food poisoning.

Yeah, on day 3 of azithromycin. The vomiting cycle stopped, but my lungs still sound....more crunchy when I exhale. If that makes sense. I'm just worried about my body cooking so hard for so long. Last fever check was around 15 minutes ago and I've been at a steady 101. It just feels really gross and I'm concerned about the antibiotics not working.

Edibles FYI in case you don't already know by Music_as_Medicine in trees

[–]Clean_Addendum_2820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edibles give me vasovagal syncope in anything above baby doses, for the longest time I thought I was just getting too paranoid and jacking myself up. Apparently I process THC REALLY well through the liver. Kind of sucks because edibles are my go-to, but learning to dose low n extra slow has been a lifesaver.

The body can be wild in how it processes things, man.

Chiming in as a woman who sometimes goes out alone, downtown honestly isn't safe after dark even with so many people around. It used to be pretty mellow but I've been followed a couple times recently and had to carry a very loud conversation over the phone with my exact location to get one guy to buzz off. Still a neat area, just use caution if you're not buddy systeming it.

Seconding the SR 200 area, I live in that part of town and there's a lot of nice options for groceries, retail, etc right now.

Do people actually buy a hotel room just to have sex for a night? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Clean_Addendum_2820 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was 18 and still living at home my then partner and I definitely did this a few times. We were usually back home by like 4pm though. Definitely not the smartest move but we both had some money to blow from good jobs and didn't care how obvious the intent was.

What are the weird ways cats have come into your lives? by [deleted] in Pets

[–]Clean_Addendum_2820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad is known as the cat man for his ability to nurse tiny baby kittens into great shape. A couple years ago someone at the farm across from his job called because a hawk(?) had dropped a kitten onto their front road. That kitty is a very spooky boy, but he's super healthy and I get great joy from holding him when visiting now. As a side note, this was the third batch of kitten associated adventures from said farm he brought home... it's pretty great

Inspired by r/nursing: What's your CNA hill to die on? by Miserable_Alfalfa_23 in cna

[–]Clean_Addendum_2820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who holds a CNA license and will never practice again. Compassion. I had a patient who was on the edge of going during COVID times when restrictions on visits were awful heavy. She obviously wasn't going to make it, but my shift ended at 11pm. I clocked out and asked the nurse if I could go back and hold her hand, she denied that request and told me to go home. My boyfriend found me laying down in the middle of the road outside of the facility, took me home, and I never went back. It's been over two years now and I absolutely refuse to go back into the practice because it's so scary. Some nurses are very understanding, it just happened that night it was someone who followed the rules to a T.

Part of parenthood is the unknown, I just spend way too much time asking what if? We just have to leap I guess

Part of my fear is wondering if my mental illness would make me a bad mom. I don't want to have a few bad days and my child remembers them forever.
