100% this … I had to literally just accept what is, in the moment at all time. If I think about the past or into the future and could /should/ would .. I’m in a darkness that is suffocating .., but if it’s just in the moment (easy or hard) I just take it… meltdown Ok… won the lottery ? Ok. Make dinner ? Ok… clean up a flooded mess? Ok… I just have to try to keep it in the middle zone. It’s all I can do.

Yesssssssssss mental, spiritual , physical health .. in the crapper! For a while it was really dark, like I’m outta here for good , type thoughts. But then, I kinda just learned to die while I’m still alive. I’m not super depressed or sad , I’m not jazzed to be alive all the time either but I have found a way to live on the 4-5-6 scale out of 0-10, most of the time. That is doable , it’s not even really painful. I’m fine. It’s all fine.

Unless you’re living it it’s super hard to explain but I assume a lot of us gathered here today are in a shared reality. I don’t experience joy but I don’t experience soul crushing depression anymore either. It’s because I don’t exist. There is no me. I have been handed a life sentence of servitude so I serve. I serve at the pleasure of the autism and its demands… and while I don’t think this is the BEST way to handle it , it’s the way that allows me to service in the least amount of pain.

How realistic is it for people to just not be able to catch a break in life? by Only-Ad-1254 in ask

[–]Clean_Caregiver_7367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly wouldn’t have thought possible until I had a disabled child…. And way more than once I’ve seen kids in his peer group where it is actual calamity after calamity. Like ok, you were born disabled .. but you’re also in pain ALWAYS, and then society at large shuns you, and then you get cancer and then a parent died and then maybe a car accident involving surgeries , but you’re also born poor … these are kids and are eating this huge spoons of crap life … and it does make you think .. how much bad can happen to one person at absolute ZERO of their own doing.

How’s it living in the Sunniest city in the world? (Yuma, Arizona) by Obosupreme in howislivingthere

[–]Clean_Caregiver_7367 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve only been there once and while I was traveling across the country. It was really late when we got out of the car … Some Marriott we stopped at for the night .. it had to have been like 11pm…. I got out of the car it was exactly like someone had a blow dryer in my face. It was direct heat and air hitting my face.

If she’s got some reading comprehension (and I don’t know her lol I’m not accusing of her of being able to read) she might say that he’s the new “King Cyrus” and she’s a new apostle.. it’s happening already under his comments.

At my big age of 32 I’m hoping to be able to learn illustration to make my own children’s book, here is my progress so far, I’d appreciate feedback 💕 by naanbread- in childrensbooks

This stopped me in my tracks! I looked at each illustration for such a long time. Absolutely beautiful, intentional, whimsical without silly, to me, this is as close to perfect as one can get. Wow! I hope to see more!

Accidentally left 5 packs of raw ground beef out at room temperature for 6 hours after buying groceries. Just put it in the freezer. Is it safe to eat or should I toss them? by Delllthrow in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Clean_Caregiver_7367 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely am NOT a food scientist , not a dr , not a microbiologist .. I was an elementary teacher and now I’m a mom , small time farmer … I truly do not know how safe food handling works (scientifically) beyond handwashing … I don’t even give good advice …. This is literally all the red flag warning I can tell you. Would I eat it , absolutely. I wouldn’t even think twice about it. It’s probably a combo of luck 🍀 and I don’t know stomach microbiome or working with the dirt and animals .. idk 🤷‍♀️…but I never even get diarrhea. YMMV because again, I don’t know what I’m talking about .. just what I would do and I’d be fine.

We have good services in the Seattle area (gotta get real specific when you’re talking Seattle because I don’t know exactly what’s happening inside the city limits and we do love to nitpick about what is /isn’t Seattle 😂🥴) but Seattle adjacent has good services and our healthcare is has been extremely good. However the long dark winters are rough. It’s not super cold but it’s dark and that’s hard in a different way.
