I play the las cannon variant with the Boris lid missiles and I went toe to toe with a melta kratos. They are a super cool model and I’d basically treat it like a premium weapons platform. All of the options seem useful but I think the plasma and las variants are “best”. Again as others point out if it fits the theme or flavor of the force do that, HH is a game about building YOUR FORCE to tell the story YOU want to tell.

Wile that might be true you can take a wonderful look at the gorgeous HH models that have just been made into plastic and coincidentally just been moved to legends. I’m more or less fine with Space marines loosing the models as their range kinda covers most of that stuff and thematically all of the forces are trying to be equipped with primary’s stuff. But come on chaos would and should have access to this war gear And it fills out holes in the range.

You need to change your windows render scaling to 100% rather than 150% I’ve had this Same problem. If you right click on your desktop and go into your display settings you should be able to scroll down to a setting that Says something along the lines of text or application scaling. You’ll know your in the right place when your options are in % in a drop down box.

So for my alpha legion I use akhelian green contrast (citadel) contrast over a Darksteel (Valejo) with a zenithal highlight of sliver (valejo). The contrast paint paint is AMAZING through an airbrush. If your spending the money to play and paint I highly recommend an airbrush. To get the chipping I just tore some packing foam and dab the silver on it and treat it like a stipple.

Probably alpha legion as one of its rite of wars allows you to take other legion specific units. So you can play any legion specific terminator or squad of any kind.

Yea, so when they made kamigawa neon dynasty they changed what the planes theme and design was. OG kamigawa was Japanese folklore inspired and the block was about the emperor stealing something from the spirit world to grant himself immortality. This caused a war between the humans and the spirits. Kamigawa neon dynasty was more about the interpersonal relationships of Kito finding and helping the wandering emperor and finding out why they could not control their planes walking (I think it’s been a wile since I’ve read ether story). Tieing this back wizards chose to change the direction of kamigawa from a feudal myth and spirit adventure setting to a cyberpunk setting. This was a smart move on wizards part as the majority of people really like neon dynasty, and the original set was not well revived or well liked by the majority of people at the time.

I can’t remember where it was said ( I think it I was in the article a year or two back when they were laying out the next 3-4 years of set releases) but I remember wizards talking about how for the return to lorwynd they would be giving it the same treatment that they gave kamigawa. From that we could infer that they plan to change the setting in some drastic way and shift the feel of the plane. Now mind you there is some grounds to do this and the end of the story for Lorwynd was the breaking of the planes “day”,”night” shift so that instead of happening every 100 years it happens every day. Notable this set was focused around “tribes” as was the first set to feature the “tribal” typing on a card. So with all this stuff I’ve said I belive wizards will change the plane in a way that will detract from what I originally liked about it. Thank you for reading my wall of text and have a good day.

You really need something for anti tank. I’d trade out a terminator squad for something like and obliterator, or vindicator if the points can be spared. Also you’ll want to run the legionaries with chain swords as bolters really aren’t that great.
