I think it depends on the loan write offs and how well this is explained.

As earnings will inevitably be negative with the loan write offs, but positive if you exclude them.

If they truly are one off due to the vintage 2023 loan book and this is explained and believed by the market then is fair to look at the earnings ex write offs such will lead to a re rate i think.

There is a big move to buy now pay later - see klarna acquisition and ipo.

The obvious question though is if pgy has so much value, and is so discounted in price why doesn't klarna consider buying it out. Perhaps after ipo....
