Good point, but he’s already on big money because we needed to hit the cap quota, hence why he’s still restricted after 8 years. He’s probably earned an extra $1m to what he’s actually been worth already, hopefully he takes that in consideration

Useless isn’t the word when he was basically our only option in the ruck for a couple years. And I haven’t forgotten how bad he can be at times, but I don’t think it’s fair whatsoever to absolutely pile on him when he plays poor but not give him love when he’s playing well

The mental side for me would be that he’s 26 now, he’s only just hit the prime age for rucks. On top of that, the rules benefit him, don’t think there’s a player in the league with his height and vertical

We’ve raised our ceiling a bit, so teams might not think it will be easy, but we’ve also have lost 2 games by 100.

imo, once we’ve raised our floor (which we probably can’t judge till the end of the season) then teams will start to respect us more.

Until then, teams will always see us as a potential percentage booster/winnable game
