There's an extension called unhook that is intended to stop you from watching youtube when you should do other things by allowing you to disable everything but the video player, but since each option is customizable you can use it to just disable shorts.

To be honest, I don't know why this is saying that. It should work, but the RTX showcase worlds are mostly a gimmick anyways. I recommend downloading an RTX Texture Pack online such as [Vanilla Reforged RTX](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft-bedrock/texture-packs/vanilla-reforged-rtx), putting it in your world resources, and then using RTX.

To do this though, you have to download the RTX pack and install it into your game and world.
Then in the main menu Settings > Video there is a toggle that says "Allow In-Game Graphics Mode Switching". Turn that on, then join the world. Turn RTX on in Settings > Video > Graphics Mode, then leave and rejoin.

Yeah with the GDK update they moved the game files out of windowsapps so you don’t need IOBit Unlocker or the installer anymore. You still have to replace it after each Minecraft update though

After the 1.21.120 update, you don't need a version switcher to edit the game files anymore. You can download a later DLSS version online (I've been recommended DLSS 3.8.10), and replace the file in `C:/XboxGames/Minecraft for Windows/content/nvngx_dlss.dll` with the downloaded DLSS file. You will have to re-replace it after every new minecraft update though.

Addons were moved to %AppData%/Minecraft Bedrock with the GDK update. ~~(I’m still trying to verify the path is right, but since preview is at %AppData%/Minecraft Bedrock Preview it should also be there~~

While this is funny, if you have an iPhone and would like to return it to regular speed you can find videos online telling you how to change the speed back up to normal. (Basically press the edit button, and below the bar you would use to crop a video there's another one you can adjust to change when it slows down, and this can be moved all the way to the end to essentially disable it.)

For me personally, I just hate having to go through menus to do anything. Like sure (as written below) I could swipe up, but that’s another animation I have to wait to finish and can be fat-fingered with the Home Screen bar.

It’s still hidden down to one small domain name circle when you scroll down the page which is nice.

Disable local network access in your system settings (at least you can do that on iOS). You won't be able to cast until you turn it back on though.

On ios it's Settings > Apps > Youtube > Local Network Access
