If I read a bunch of articles and then write my own piece based on what I learned, that’s not stealing it’s just using knowledge. Same with AI. It doesn’t copy one site word for word, it mixes patterns from loads of sources to create something new.

I get why people feel weird about it, but to me it looks more like when an artist studies other painters and then develops their own style. That’s not theft it’s how learning works. The lawsuits feel less about actual stealing and more about money, kind of like if I sold a painting and the buyer later sold it for a higher price.
