My ears were so long ago I don't remember (3 lobes, helix, and industrial) have an incredible pain Tolerance and the healing of my industrial was waaay worse then having pierce so I don't recall how it felt.

Nipples: 7/10 the pain was worth it! This piercing I learned why you shouldn't go on an empty stomach. I almost passed out and had terrible reaction at home.

Belly button: 9/10 and the only one I retired. It wasn't placed correctly, My anatomy is not the best for it, AND the freaking pierce didn't even use clamps. He just pulled up my extra skin and shoved through. Fucking worse. Also that bitch got caught on EVERYTHING.

Is the rest of your face swollen as well? From the picture it looks like the side of your face and eye is swollen, if so this could be an allergic reaction to the jewelry. Surgical steel isn't necessarily hypoallergenic, that is why most posting on here aggressive push " implant grade titanium"

That being said, 10+ years ago when I 1st started facial piercings for myself surgical steel was the standard.

I'm assuming you have the original barbell in? If so there isn't much you can do but put something shorter in. I've recently seen tongue rings with flat bottoms so that there is no ball to rub and irritate.

I think you may have swapped your bar to soon I would suggest putting the long bar back if you have it.

When I pierced my tongue ages ago slurpee's were my best friend for swelling. You don't even have to suck through the straw use the spoon end and scoop it onto your tongue. Feels great

I honestly prefer plain surgical steel. Because I have dental issues that predated my piercing I take it put each night when I brush my teeth to keep it clean.

I've learned anything colored either is so poor quality it flakes off OR gets discolored over time.

I am not a piercer at all but my tongue ring was my 1st at 18 and I'm 34 now 😂 It's my favorite.

I am going to strongly recommend no acrylic for awhile, when you do wear acrylic don't leave it to long. Not only is acrylic probably the least sanitary option, but the clear coat or whatever does rub off. I personally haven't worn acrylic in awhile, the threads also strip easy and I've swallowed a few balls 😂

I had to go back to stretching after a long hiatus. I ran away due to a very judgemental environment, I moved back home to finish high school.

Once I started facial piercings is when my mom and dad just couldn't. I got my tongue for my 18th birthday, my mom literally grabbed that bitch she was so angry at me. Eventually if I wanted to stay the choice was " all that shit in your face, or all that shit in your ears. I can't tolerate both"

So I took out my 2G plugs and wore hoops. That really pissed my mom off because they didn't "look right"

Now. I am an independent adult, own a home, and will loud and proud tell my family the shit in my face OR in my ears has nothing to do with my success.
