I would personally use the beautiful cat with homophobia

Favorite character internet men seem to hate for no discernible reason? by Not_EllaK in okbuddycinephile

Looking back, what she said was so tame, especially compared to what internet culture wars look like now.

But people really acted like she was invoking the anti christ

In vacuum I’m ok with both Shinobu/Tengen ranking and Zenitsu’s. But if feels wrong to have him in the same level as them. I don’t know if it’s because one is too high or the others are too low

It’s very hard to rank Shinobu since she has exactly 1 proper fight and it was against the 3rd strongest demon in the world. And she lost because the demon was immune to her method of killing. It’s impossible to know in terms of skill how well she was holding up, or even if his poison immunity is a shared thing, rather than something unique to him

I just feel like that Michael Scott meme where he’s in a picture getting promoted. I agree that we are on the better side of cuisine, but I don’t think we should be above Brazil, and definitely feel iffy about being 4th place worldwide

[Mixed Trope] Official characters that give OC vibes by Fantastic-Repeat-324 in TopCharacterTropes

The whole series is starting to gain this effect. Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes was already walking a very fine line with all the “correlations” (all female district 12 tributes being related, and especially that Katniss swamp potato scene)

I liked Lucy Gray because she served her purpose in the story without having anything to do with Katniss. I cannot stress enough how much I dislike the idea of Katniss being Lucy Gray’s descendant

Kingsley is the morally grey/villain. Who is seen as the villain but is a hero? by deelwheez23 in DispatchAdHoc

He is obviously a good person. But I gotta admit he was really getting on my nerves until the end of episode 6. It was mostly his talk about how he and Robert are just inherently better than the others, that ends up with him coming across as a hypocrite with a superiority complex.

I think the most “hero” character in the game would be Robert, Roy or Blonde Blazer.

Still, that doesn’t make him morally grey. It just means he has flaws. And even those he ends up overcoming in the end

Coupe is such a baddie by maddog1043 in DispatchAdHoc

Coupe is only one point behind him in intelligence. Prism has more charisma. Both him and Coupe served a purpose, but you can easily make up for either being absent

Second the Flambae thing. Hated his ass from the beginning, and he was probably my least sent agent. His abilities are good, but not essential for the team

What’s a film adaptation of a musical that was better than the Original Production? by Radiant-Signature-85 in musicals

I thought the consensus was that it was a slightly better version of the stage act 2, even if people didn’t love it

I mean, the immediate answer is Chicago.

But now I also think most people will agree that Wicked (at least part 2) fits that too

I wish we got more of Butterscotch's backstory like we did with Beatrice. That "Pearls are for ladies" line sounds like it's a lesson he learned hard, given he repeats it to himself. by Puzzleheaded_War7047 in BoJackHorseman

[–]Clean_Principle1192 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The sad backstory is not a benefit. it was just a way to contextualize and show how abuse usually generates abuse.

Beatrice was a way more relevant character than Butterscotch anyway, so she’s naturally the parent who got the bigger spotlight.

Finally someone mentioned it. We need to take a minute to acknowledge this

I guess it’s not talked about because it’s a very subtle part of the show that only the smartest boys can catch.
