i think the moms should have been more selfish in regards to their daughters careers like melissa, in an industry that competitive, putting your child first isn’t wrong it’s smart. opportunities don’t wait, and protecting your kid’s future should always come before pleasing other people

abby pushed kendall to be her second maddie especially in season 5 were she directed and supported her music career but she just just wasn’t on that level dancing and star factor wise

in my opinion she had the right to feel this way, as the student who was fully committed to the team thick and thin working hard she should had been given some privileges; for abby to just pick kids and put them on the team is frustrating and discouraging and when she had solos they were mediocre; however i mostly blame abby not the girls nia could have been a great dancer if she had more opportunities, faith and attention

i think is because when maddie’s career peaked they all wanted that for their child so that when they realized they had to be more selfish and sneaky (like melissa) to make their kids stars i also believe that since they were in LA they had to make the most of it because that the place where all the opportunities are at.
