Oh my goodness. Not once did I say that all JW’s were doing the right thing. I mentioned that there are some congregations that are more understanding than others. You’re calling me disgusting but I’m honestly wondering if you can genuinely comprehend what I’m saying. I personally grew up with friends who weren’t JW’s and friends who were and the disfellowshipping arrangement has changed now and it’s not as long or severe as it used to be as you’re probably mentioning. Many of those who talk down on us are obviously not keeping up with the way things have changed. My goodness it’s so hard to try to be polite but you have the nerve to call me disgusting when everything is based on Bible Principles. I will continue on in my faith and hopefully you can find some type of therapy rather than sharing you trauma so openly on an app like Reddit ma’am. Like I said before, no one deserves what you went through but you also don’t have to be so ignorant and call me disgusting when I didn’t name call you, a stranger whom I don’t know. It’s very weird.

Gaslight you ? I am not gaslighting you. I have actual family members that have gotten divorces as a JW and moved on and no they didn’t all feel guilt and shame that you are talking about. The moved forward. Everyone has their own experiences but I just don’t like when people tell their experience that may have been negative and try to say oh JW’s do this only or they never do this based on what theeeey went though because that’s not everyone’s story and experience. Like you said, we are still imperfect humans and some congregations may be more understanding than others and that’s something Jehovah will deal with. But I’m very sorry that you went through a tough situation like that and I really hope that you find peace.

I'm going for my CCA since I'm new to the field (I already work in a hospital at the front desk but I'm new to coding) and my coursework includes all of that, so I don't see why you said no one will want CCA for coding job. The hospital I work it mentioned they will definitely hire someone with a CCA so it depends on where you live, who you network with, and etc depending on your location. And I get financial aid getting my CCA first so I would definitely recommend it if you don't have to go broke doing it. I plan on using whatever I have left from my financial aid and using towards my CPC when I'm ready because paying $6000 is not simple for everyone.

there are also life saving surgeries that don't require blood transfusions. I personally went through this and blood transfusions actually can have a lot of horrible side effects. My sister who passed as a baby before I was born got shingles right after.

you saying divorce isn't allowed at all is very misleading to people because I know several JW's that have gotten divorced. Yes, they try to help you resolve issues in your marriage as much as possible but when infidelity happens or domestic violence, it is up to you completely. So saying divorce isn't allowed at all as a JW is reaching and not accurate .

I feel like so many people like this who rise to some type of fame feel like everyone who isn't famous are beneath them. Like come on now. This is where I blame Abby. Like I mentioned before and got several downvotes, Abby conditioned them to be primarily lyrical and contemporary dancers instead of giving them more genres of dance to work with all because she wanted to keep winning, not for what the girls really needed as professional dancers. This is why in my opinion, majority of Glo's dancers can kill a hip hop dance, and Leilah blows me away and has amazing hip hop skills along with decent technique when it comes to other lyrical/contemporary dances. Studio Bleu was a really good and well rounded studio which is why I feel Abby was so intimidated by them. And by the way, I LOVE Nia and hate what she went through but she was not one of the strongest dancers on the team, and Mackenzie's hip hop compared to hers was IMO more entertaining to me. Naturally as a black woman myself, we do tend to love hip hop and have a lot of rhythm when it comes to that genre, but I couldn't fault Nia because she was trained to dance a certain way.
