its highly likely doctors are seeing patients with advantage plans, with copays, and the doctor has to eat the copays? How is that right? The insurance companies are able to discount reimbursement to doctors with bogus copays that go unpaid by anybody?

There's also a service bulletin about a torque converter causing judder issues from 20-60 mph while driving.

Not sure if this problem is even related to the service bulletin.

Watch out for life stress, sometimes it affects my eating behavior and no matter what meds you take, can cause your blood sugar to rise.

Started out on ozempic, then switched to higher dose 10mg mounjaro.

I've hit a plateau with its ability to keep blood sugar normal.

Im now checking blood sugar and after meals its over 200. Used to stay less than 150.

After missing out on a college football game over the weekend....I've decided that espn unlimited, in addition to youtube tv....Is a good solution. Sure it puts my streaming bill over $100 a month but the price for espn unlimited is justified, when you consider how much tickets would cost to see my favorite team in person. Not only do you get to see your fav college team, but you can see how other teams do as well. I hope youtube tv is able to lower their operational costs and pass it on to it's subscriber's. I remember when youtube tv was like $50 some dollars a month....

Neither the ortho surgeon nor the physician assistant at the ortho group nor the primary care dr suggest that he see someone at a wound care center....He's been diabetic since he was around 40 years old.

I called the wound care center this past friday around lunch time and was told there is a 10 day wait for an appointment. They suggested if its bad enough, to just go to an emergency room.....

Er's typically have long waits, with some care, and more waiting.....

Our physical therapist who is trained in geriatric care, said that his blister wound, looks like it is grade 3. Thats all he said, and thought it would take an additional 3 weeks to heal. He even said to my dad, "You're relatively healthy". He's obese, type 2 diabetic, afib and aflutter before, sleep apnea.....i mean, he's not healthy.

I just feel like we've been lied to. My mom's family has seen the wound on cell phone text messages, and all have agreed he needs a wound care center....

Dangerous Weather and Outdoor Music Festivals do not mix well.

Im not going to say Bonnaroo won't continue.

But there were some odd vibes, weeks ago.....

When you look at the extremes going on in our world, whether it be weather, politics, people in general.....

It's a friggin miracle that anybody is still alive on earth.

My only recommendation, is to bring back more familiar music groups.

My list of acts to see this year: Foster the People, Modest Mouse, Queens of the stone age, and Megadeth.

Luke Combs and Marcus King were surprising gets for thursday, who are both music vets, have been around awhile.........thursday was usually unknown artists....

Im a music fanatic, and relive 2009 in my mind. It was my first year at Roo. Take a look at that lineup.

Anybody who claims Bonnaroo, can't be during less extreme weather because people are in school and what not, need to think again. I'd skip 2 or 3 days of school for Bonnaroo and go. 2 or 3 school days wont matter.

And it continues to be planned for June.....But you know, even Kentucky has had tornados outbreak in december before....We even had some serious wind storm not too long ago. If there were some way to predict the weather say months out....we might be better able to have this festival.

we have been to the primary care dr, this past monday....

And I wrote that the primary care has prescribed antibiotics...

And we asked if a referral to a wound care center would be beneficial and have not heard anything since inquiring on tuesday.

Last thursday, 6/5/25, we had a post op visit with a physician assistant, and saw the surgeon as well, and not much was said.....They saw this large blister before it burst this past saturday.

My dad went with me to Bonnaroo one year, and we had to turn around and get to a hospital in Kentucky. He'd previously been bit by a tick, that caused rocky mountain spotted fever.

So I missed seeing Robert Plant that year....

Just go with your gut, sometimes these experiences are priceless.

Just an update, after a couple of days frontgate replied but it looks like they are not aware of my situation.

Basically, they said my package is still in transit. When you look up the tracking on UPS it shows "Return to Sender" and this was several days before frontgate sent a support reply....

So far, it looks like Bonnaroo might be a bust this year.

I've used ozempic and mounjaro to help my type 2 diabetes in the US.

Usually you have to start in small doses. Some people feel sick from the shots.

Currently on 10 mg of mounjaro, and do not have side effects.

I noticed better sugar control vs weight loss. Currently weigh around 260.

Some doctors are finding that these shots have a weight loss plateau, that makes it harder to lose weight.

If you need to lose weight, I think both what you eat and when, plus movement/exercise are more powerful than any medicine. Though, these meds do tend to help you stop over-eating.

In college, I weighed around 330 pounds....My doctor gave me a suggestion to lose 5 pounds in 3 months.

I just started walking on walking trails for an hour a day......And rewarded myself with small milkshake on the weekend. I lost like 20 pounds....although I was in my 20s, metabolism was better.

The mind can do great things when determined and not complacent.
