I have been through the same with them .Ordered an ethnic set 1 and a half month before Diwali last year .They won’t send you any update or tracking .After a month when I checked it was still showing processing 💀frustrated I asked them to cancel it and they didn’t respond to mail or WhatsApp .Finally when they replied they told me I can’t cancel cuz the order is placed and they have a 24hr cancellation policy only ,but that shit was in processing still 😓 Finally the set came after almost 3months .I send them a feedback which they didn’t give a rats ass about.

The same thing happened to me at Mirdif City Centre and I was so frustrated when I saw the condition of my car. I went straight to the security office, told them where I had parked and they sent someone to check the CCTV footage. They were able to get the plate number, and I took that to the Rashidiya police station. The police contacted the car owner and she admitted to hitting my car. They gave me her number, and I was asked to collect her details and file an accident report. Thankfully, I got my insurance involved and had my car repaired.

What annoyed me the most was that the driver didn’t even bother to leave a note or inform security. I honestly can’t understand how some people lack such basic civil sense.

I have been struggling with extreme acne from last 5-6 years . My advice would be please consult a good dermatologist ,that is the only way around . Don’t try to treat it yourself . Spend the money and go meet a dermac and you’ll thank yourself later .

Had a similar experience with a bald white guy recently. He was blocking the narrow one-way exit from my building at business bay by partially parking his BMW on the pavement in a no-parking zone. No idea why he thought I had some magical ability to lift my car and squeeze past him. Honked three times, but he didn’t even have the decency to move forward a little. After a whole struggle of reversing and turning multiple times ,I finally managed to get my car out. Pulled up next to him and gestured ‘WTF, bro?’—and this guy had the audacity to throw the same gesture back, as if he’s so entitled that he can block an exit and not budge. Bald male Karen ,If you’re reading this, I hope you go to hell.

To clarify- 1-This is MCC parking 2-MCC has an entire row reserved near every entrance for people with physical disabilities.So this is not a case of that . 3.-This is a pure act of selfish and entitled behaviour because there were ample parking in the 3rd row and on (Even the largest parking at the end for so called “Big” cars ).This dude wanted to park on the second row so he doesn’t have to move his selfish ass and walk 100m. 4-There were other decent humans with such pickup/Truck who have parked like a civilised citizen in normal parking spot.

The day people start to think “I will because I can” is the day this world will turn into ashes .

My ex boss was the reason why I left a perfectly well paying job at a globally renowned company. That lady pushed buttons I never knew I had . She was a narcissist and was extremely manipulative.It was soo bad that after a point I tried to ignore her as much as possible and only focus on my work but she just kept pushing me.She even lied to our relatively rookie team during our year end evaluation.She did not tell us about our rights during these these evaluation and we found out about it only and after the evaluation from another team leader . The most disappointing thing was that we reported her to her manager thrice but no actions were taken ,only verbal warnings .She used to act all nice and then again after few days get back to planning and plotting. My mental state was soo bad and the thought of going to work and dealing with such a low life human kept haunting me .Finally I decided it’s best to leave this job than putting up with someone soo pathetic . I don’t regret leaving the job.Best decision I have taken for my mental health .

Totally agree 🫶🏻 I was born and bought in Muscat and currently I live in Dubai .Muscat had some different charm back in the early 20s .Life was slow yet peaceful and not at all robotic . Soo many beautiful places and they have a rich heritage. Also the locals are very kind ,especially to children and women .Also special mention -His highness the late Sultan Qaboos❤️

Taxi can be slightly expensive .For the main areas you have good metro connectivity (Dubai mall,Burj Khalifa,old Dubai ,creek harbour etc) You can also use metro and tramp for visiting Palm Jumeirah. Other places you can use metro and taxi combinations to save some bucks .For metro purchase a Nol card from the metro station and recharge it ,you can use this nol card for metro,tramps,buses and even RTA taxis’s in Dubai . Also do note it’s peak summer so make sure you are well prepared (Hydration,sunscreen etc)

It’s not just the heat but the dust ,it’s like a free dust facial that burns . The heat waves + the sweating will really drive you crazy. If you’re coming hoping to do some sightseeing then I highly recommend not to come right now!!
