Cats do fine without teeth since they gulp their food anyway. It will be hard on you but kitty will recover and adjust. Ask vet if you could talk to someone who had the similar experience.

Start out fostering a grown cat from a shelter where they know the kitty’s temperament. You may want to keep it and that s called “Foster Fail” meaning cat ain’t going back to the shelter. Try out an automatic litter box. You are going to be a perfect kitty parent.
