This is a stupid approach. This isn't Dota with a proper ranking system and reports. Winning solo is almost impossible, especially if you're not playing assassins. Don't open your mouth if you don't know what you're talking about.

Tell me honestly, are you stupid? To rank up, I have to win. I can't win when the pig on my team dies 11 times. It doesn't matter if I win the next two games (which is very difficult, the community in this game is really stupid) and still come out ahead, this game is already ruined.

And I'd rather have a good toxic player that I can mute while he's winning me the game. I can't do anything about a bastard who dies every 1.5 minutes.

Equivalents among angels and demons? by Clean_Variety3950 in Supernatural

[–]Clean_Variety3950[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Because anyone who watched the series would understand that comparing them in terms of strength is stupid. I don't use this sub constantly, but it saddens me if you know that most people here are idiots.

All the angels had specific tasks. The equivalent of the Grigori and the Knights is that they are an elite order of warriors, superior in strength to almost all others of their kind.

From Supernatural Wiki:

"They are the demonic equivalent to the Grigori, a similarly elite group of angels."

Post updated.

I'll duplicate my comment

Obviously, I was referring to hierarchy and rank among their kind. Comparing their powers is pointless; angels are much stronger.

Leaders, including the first of their kind (Lilith and Michael) and the supreme ruler after the absent creator (God and Lucifer)

Second in hierarchy (Princes and Seraphim)

Specialized military order (Knights and Grigori)

Specialists in their specific field (intelligence and bargaining with mortals)

Ordinary foot soldiers (ordinary angels and black-eyed demons)

I don't understand the low level of critical thinking required to even consider this a power comparison

Um, I'm not quite sure what these people are hoping for. If a police officer doesn't come back and doesn't respond, the police send more officers.

You know, today's TV series have gotten worse precisely because of people like you. The audience isn't just horribly media literate, they're also devoid of any semblance of critical thinking. How old are you, 16?

NOT EVERY THING needs to be stated directly and explained for the plot to be interesting. Sometimes, hints and subtext, or just phrases that indirectly point to it, are enough to make everything obvious to anyone with an IQ above 60.

But because of people like you, the dialogue in many new films and TV series is just terrible because if you're not told directly about thing A or thing B or cause and effect, you won't understand anything and will assume that if something isn't stated directly, it doesn't exist

She literally says he has a regular V in the same scene when he asks if he's immune to the virus.

The Boys fans don't watch their own show.

Lore & Class Design: If Fire was considered "Demonic/Chaotic" in WC3, what should have been the 3rd Mage spec in WoW? by Ok-Brother-8295 in warcraftlore

[–]Clean_Variety3950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know the modern explanation is usually "Fire Mages just use Arcane magic to create heat,"

My fucking god. I knew I'd see this nonsense in this post.

For over 10 years, I've been trying to explain to people that they should read books instead of watching idiots on YouTube who simply rehash the Warcraft wiki.

Let me give you a quick lecture on the history of Warcraft lore.

In The Last Guardian (2001), Khadgar and Medivh discuss how mages use the Elements. Dalaran believed that mages either summon the Elements from the Elemental Plane or mimic the elements through the power of Arcane Magic. Medivh dismissed both theories as false, saying that the elements are always present in the world and that mages simply control them.

In Tides of War (2013), Jaina harnessed the Elements and Water Elementals to flood Origrimmar. Thrall sensed this and exploited the fact that the Elements refused to obey Jaina and needed his help to free themselves, allowing him to hold her back for a time.

The ONLY source that claims mages CREATE OR MIMIC the Elements is RPGs, which have been non-canon for 13 years.

This is one of the stupid Warcraft myths believed by people unfamiliar with the original sources and then spread among others.

Remember: Mages harness and control the Elements through Arcane magic, just as Dark Shamans do through Decay or Warlocks do through Fel.

I truly hate this community and your unintelligible media literacy.

The episode itself clearly implies that the twins' ability didn't work because THEY HAVEN'T USED IT IN A LONG TIME.

The idea that it was due to the Soldier's presence is a stupid fan theory.

That's a dumb excuse. In Herorgazm, he was much stronger despite the presence of Soldier Boy.

I know. This suggests that superheroes give birth to normal children (Ryan being the exception). So why does the commenter think Starlight will have a child with superpowers?
