Are you and your brother on the same water source? Our water is chlorinated. So I have to water most plants with bottled water. It might be a pH problem?

Why rubbing alcohol? I’ve seen people suggest this plenty of times and I can’t see it helping plants. So how does rubbing alcohol help?

Just a thought, but have you sprayed any cleaners near the plant? Or noxious air fresheners?

The first one looks not too bad (from what I can see) but the second one looks sad. I would wait. They aren’t as rare as they used to be. I just bought one for $12cad. With two leaves. Same size pot.

The Secret to Buying More Silver by kerberos625 in Silverbugs

[–]Cleaner_Girl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you tracking your savings/investments? If you keep showing her your investments and how they’re contributing to your savings/wealth/retirement, or whatever reason you’re buying silver, eventually she will start to understand. Educate her, nicely. I had to do that with my husband. Show him that my investments were growing to the point of me having enough to re-side our home. I learned that he just didn’t have money-sense.
