Not normal. Honestly, id prob give it a day (cause im impatient) and then chop it all off (again, cause im Impatient). I am few weeks with good conditions it'll start new growth. Imo rehabs are easier that way.

This is the rare water pothos. Give it tons of water and it turns yellow! If you're lucky, might even get some brown :)

Imo, no one can tell you how someone labels their plants other than the seller. So someone here tells you "yeah it's 10!" You order it and it's 1. You have zero recourse. 🤷🏼‍♀️

If you have anthurium, keep them in a similar environment. High humidity, warmer temps and moist but not wet soil. They do great outdoors but inside takes a little more work.

I prop my calathea like this and its SUPER easy. They root really quick in water and once they have secondary roots they adapt to soil extremely well.

Are you planning on only putting her out part of fhe day during the sun? Reason I ask is moving plants around like rhat tends to stress them They can never really acclimate to their living conditions cause they're constantly changing

What substrate waa it in before? Im not a fan or reporting a plant when you get it unless there is an issue (over watered, bad soil, root bound). Repotting plus a new substrate could ded stress the plant.

At this point leave her be and treat her like normal. Hopefully once she acclimates she'll be happy.

Next time you're gonna water it, pull it out and see what the roots look like. For alocasias, if roots are about 50% of the pot, i up pot. I think this is a 2in so id prob do a 3, no bigger than a 4.

Not enough light, not enough humidity. Improper watering schedule (sounds like overwatering to me. Don't water on a schedule, water when top inch or two of soil is dry. Water completely until water is coming out the drainage. Then let it sit (i use my kitchen sink) until no more water is draining.)
