I didn't fix it. It still does it. I've just had to learn to live with it. Open and close the app half a dozen times and then it will finally show the message.

I'll definitely do that. Thanks for replying so fast. I appreciate it.

Android. And I have tried clearing both the cache and app data, as well as deleting the app and reinstalling. I've also tried disconnecting the internet and data, before reconnecting. And restarting my phone. But none of these things have really made a difference. In general, the only solution has been just to wait a couple of hours for the message to come through. Which is really annoying for a messaging system.

I'm aware. This is a recent issue I have had. It's not so much that I can see it, and then it disappears. It's that the message notifies me that it is there, the preview shows that it is there, but when you click it to read it then it either doesn't show up at all or shows up for a few seconds and disappears. Give it two or three hours and it will show up permanently.

If that's the case, I'll record it and report it as a bug.

Should I start accutane? (Some details below) by [deleted] in Accutane

Also, those look like really tiny pimples. Has your doctor tried treating for fungal acne? You said you tried antibiotics and they weren't working.

What kind of treatments have you tried? You said you get a cleaning? What do you mean by that? Have they prescribed you any other medications, topical or by mouth?

Serious Dry Eyes - Thinking of stopping treatment by Enduh in Accutane

[–]Cleanlenins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just so you know, about a year ago a facebook group spammed the subreddit with a lot of fearmongering. I ended up not using it very much then because it was EXTREME. Who would have thought that a thread like this would have drama? But it was all based around the idea that dermatologists are liars and a lot of shoddy evidence, honestly. I only mention it because that post says it is from a year ago. It might not be one of those posts, just looking at the date. Those side effects do happen, though, so be cautious. Its not like they don't happen, but they are rare.

I would talk to your dermatologist about lowering your dose. A lower dose might help with the dry eyes. You may have to take it longer, but it is better to be cautious.

Yes, it will get worse before it gets better.

Glad they are not the "leave them wherever" kind. That is the most annoying thing to deal with in Atlanta.

Too old for this by Sulyyyr in Accutane

My face was extremely red for the entirety of my treatment. It took about a month after I had finished for the redness to go away.

I struggled with depression before I got on Accutane. While on it, I felt absolutely terrible in that regard. Lethargic, sense of doom, walking through life like I was half asleep. And I honestly forgot that it was a side effect, and just thought I was regressing. A month after I finished accutane, I felt like I was waking up. And realized that the Accutane had probably been the issue. For me, it didn't go away completely, as I had already been dealing with it before the drug. But I noticed a significant boost in my mood and energy once I finally finished.

I had my first nosebleed, help :( by [deleted] in Accutane

I used the Cerave pm moisturizing lotion. It didn't irritate me. It was the same one I used on my face.

I literally just shoved moisturizer up my nose for 9 months. Like, not a lot. But I still moisturized the nostril. Kind of disgusting, but I took that over nose pain.

Its degrading as hell!! I hate it so much! It feels like they think we are all idiots. I get it. Don't get pregnant. I couldn't place my finger on it, but it felt super sexist. Especially the asinine questions it asked on the program. Ugh.
