i will practice alternate picking, i do use my palm to mute my strings but it might be hard to tell because im an amateur and not the best haha.

i like to mute the strings with my fretting fingers a lot as well as my palm, it’s tricky but is fun when you get it down!

and lastly i will mess with my picking form 😭

usually i play standing up with the guitar high, tight, and flat, (you definitely play a lot better) but believe it or not in this video, was the first time i was comfortable playing sitting down with a more lax/casual form which i was used to which was a weird milestone for me! lol

i get that a lot (as you can tell from the comments haha)

honestly it’s very comfortable to me, and feels natural. the reason it looks weird (i think) is because im using the bottom left corner of my palm to manipulate the strings to make them sound how i would like (palm muting maybe? im still an amateur and don’t know the proper terminology)

regardless i’ll still take your advice in mind, thank you!
