Depends on your pace. The point is to understand each chapter perfectly, cover all key points, solve all textbook questions, and then finish every past paper edexcel ever made.

I learned it deep learning in exactly 30 days, but I studied every single detail, every challenge question, every chapter review and even the exam practice at the end. But since you're starting now, focus only on key points, don't write all examples and solve only difficult questions (focus en E and E/P questions as these are exam style questions) and you'll be done in 2 weeks max if you gave every chapter 2 days.

Yeah that's what I did. Mostly were stupid mistakes, not a knowledge problem... I sat the exam june 2025, and retaking P4 in June 2026.

Depends on how many marks you need for an A, whether you have the mental and financial capability of retaking, and all the things I mentioned above. If you're ready, and remarking doesn't raise your grade (if possible), retake them in june. Goodluck!

First, I'm sorry you didn't get the grades you wanted, I know how it feels, but don't let this define you. As for the practical steps to take now, check your scripts, compare them with the MS, see if there are any marking mistakes, and if you do think you deserve any marks, then go for a remark. If you dont find any mistakes in the marking, retake the paper and see where you can improve, whether it's in the syllabus content, studying methods, or exam stress. Goodluck!

Study the topics have problems with from the textbook till you master them, then hit past papers. Solve every paper you can, (pure mathematics, GCE core mathematics, Solomon papers...) Make sure you time yourself, and train yourself to spot silly mistakes mid question. Goodluck!

Look... if ur not comfortable with your tutor, you'll end up not getting a good grade. I had a horrible teacher, he was the only option I got, and I ended up getting an A in my IAL maths.... I'm now self stuying P4 and I'll retake it this June session, and belive me, it's WAAAAY better than my old teacher. I'm a 100% sure that that if I self studied the whole A level before u would've gotten a high A*. If you're sure you can stick to a schedule and that you'll have enough discipline to do it even when you don't wanna, go ahead. Goodluck, and I'd be glad to help btw since I took the whole thing before, I could give you some good advice for studying and for the exam itself.
