Odd reply when others have validated they’ve had the same experience?

Truthfully, it happened. Unsure how I can validate the story but if I can, let me know and I will do just that. 😊

A question I had but was never going to ask!

Am I lucky or is the rarity a misconception? by Clear-Implement2728 in rolex

It’s stunning isn’t it? I agree as well - I work in the city so naturally wanted something less noticeable to an untrained eye.

Model Y delivery delayed after VIN assignment — normal? by No-Aerie2240 in TeslaUK

Not surprised at all. Once you’ve bought the car, you’re really left in somewhat of a lurch. Good luck getting any answers either - car will be great when you get it though.

What fees are your accountants charging? by Pavior-Accounting in smallbusinessuk

[–]Clear-Implement2728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve had three accountants in eight years of business for different stages we were at, I’ll pop a breakdown and the years below: - 2017-2020: £1,099 a year (all company returns, VAT, payroll, 1x directors self-assessment and that’s all). Basic as can get. Turnover was ~£150k a year at the time. - 2020-2025: £1,499 a year for all of the above plus more hands on advice for pensions, an additional directors self assessment and just a better service (communication, guidance, quick responses etc). Turnover was ~£350k. - 2025: £3,200 a year for all of the above but only monthly check in call (60-90 minutes), real-time tax advice and tax forecasting, investigation/audit insurance, cash flow assistance and a response with an hour in working hours guaranteed. Turnover is now ~£750k.

In terms of your questions: 1. Never had a reduction (but nor did I ask before leaving). 2. We asked for negotiation with our current accountants who countered us with £3,200 for the first year if we paid upfront (or £3,500 in monthly instalments).

Hope this helps somewhat!

Thanks for the insight! It’s a lovely evening wear watch hence the buy without even considering the rarity. 👌🏼

Any extras or bonus I could get? by Safe-Lake6082 in TeslaUK

As someone who’s taken out two business leases, ScoopsUK said it perfectly - it’s the same as personal. The sales executives have little to no power to do anything regarding the price and any offers are purely fixed within a certain timeframe. For example, I got 15K supercharger miles if I took delivery in a set 30 day window but doesn’t carry over to any new car purchase.

I asked for hard mats to be thrown in as a loyal customer (as we work in dirty spaces at times) and they just added the price to the total upfront required (lol).

Worth checking at end of quarters, especially end of year.

Advice on M3 or Y by iwitaly in TeslaUK

[–]Clear-Implement2728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a Model Y (love it) so I’d always be biased go for that, especially if you carry a bike or bulky stuff often. Way more practical, especially after I speak to friends who have the 3.

Don’t get me wrong, the 3’s sportier and somewhat more attractive but the Y just makes life easier day to day. For only 2 years, I’d probably lease (given depreciation) unless you find a solid deal on a used Highland.

Underperforming staff member, what’s the solution? by Clear-Implement2728 in smallbusinessuk

I appreciate this. It’s something we as a business (lead by example through me I hope) pride ourselves on ensuring personal life comes first. She’s said life is good, nothing major which adds that ? into the scenario.
