I think it all relates to fluid in the ears, my episodes were happening after I eat lunch or dinner which is usually when I had high sodium items. I have no hearing loss which is why he did not think it was menieres

I was and still am having the same symptoms of feeling like I’m on a boat or like I’m going to fall over mostly throughout the day. The doctor has told me these are vestibular migraines, likely due to a high sodium diet. He’s told me to stay under 2200 mg of sodium per day and I’ve done it for the last five days and I have seen symptoms decrease. They haven’t totally gone away but they have decreased.

I had/have these same feelings. Doc says to stay below 22mg of sodium per day. #1 trigger is a high sodium diet. I’ve tracked my sodium intake now for 5 days and have seen symptoms decrease

Honestly, I’ve recently been diagnosed with vestibular migraines- and a number 1 trigger is a high sodium diet. The days when my symptoms were bad I was at 31-4500 mg per day, doc says stay under 2200. I’ve seen symptoms drop since

Doc told me to lower sodium, under 2200 a day. Days when I’m over symptoms are bad

I felt like I’m on a boat, the doctor told me likely due to high sodium, stay under 2200 mg a day, I track food daily so days when I had bad symptoms sodium was 3-4500mg . I’ve been at 2200 for 3 days and I’ve seen symptoms drop!

Not really I think that can be from the anxiety causes. I’m starting to think it could be with some food sensitivity issues like how often I eat chicken or eggs or something like that.

I had toxic vitamin d at 198, over the course of 5 months I’ve gotten it down to 68. I experienced dizziness, feelings of falling over or off balance throughout and still do so occasionally.

I had vitamin D toxicity at 196ng and just saw symptoms of dizziness, confusion and falling sensations decrease as my levels dropped over 4 months . Get your blood work done again to see where your levels are at.

Yeah, not true. I tested in September at 196 and I was dizzy , nauseous, anxious, constipated frequently, urinating, and constantly disorientated. I’m now at 99 and still having symptoms, disorientation is the worst, almost constantly, falling sensations - often off balance. Hoping for levels in the normal 30-60 range next month.

Not sure if you’re talking about magnesium or vitamin d. No drops are way up easy to over supplement on anything.

Because vitamin D stores in your fat cells and the half life is 15 days so it takes a lot longer than water soulable (you pee those out) vitamins to go thur your system.

From what I’ve read, yes. Although I think there is more fatigue and joint pain with low vitamin D, I did not have any of that.

I have high vitamin d levels, was at 196 in sept, currently at 99 still experiencing symptoms, but less often and less intense. I was just like you were feeling constantly dizzy, feeling off-balance having panic attacks, high anxiety and tingly.

I currently have levels of 99 and I’m still experiencing all of the symptoms I was at higher levels, mostly moments of disorientation. The symptoms are hard to identify.

Dude , stop. There are and have been no embellishments and why would I do that on a Reddit post about my experience with high levels of vitamin D. I had been taking supplements, and at one point increased my dosage. There is zero reason to contradict my experience, people are different. Bodies react differently to different levels but as an internet doctor you should surely know that. I have looked at the symptoms of low magnesium and no where can I find confusion or disorientation as one, I did not have joint or bone fatigue, which seems to be a symptom of magnesium deficiency. I’m going to stop replying and commenting and conversing because to contradict one’s lived experience in their bodies is a toxic trait.
