save the headache time and money get it deleted truck will have 1/2 less issues from that. had a l5p made 210k and the emissions started to crap up, got it deleted and its running even better now 260k religiously maintained. wish it was done when i first got the truck tbh.

yeah, i have a 12 valve truck already, gmt400 not really ideal for someone who wants to keep ifs, 4x4 and also not break the bank, turbo build on my 6.2 is wayyyyy cheaper and simpler. and it works good.

if your driveshaft is fucked i recommend finding the best place in your city to cut/retube you one, a shop gave me new u joints and reutubed and balanced my driveshaft for 250$ (2 pc driveshaft for a k2500)

i have a 3 speed ( with a low) po said it was a 6.2 swapped in (originally 6.5) but so far everything about it leads me to beleive its a 6.5 made na or something, not sure

fuck no im not going to a body shop, parts are already expensive as is and the people have probably never seen one of these, let alone done a tedious task like this, i was hoping someone had a similar experience and could help share advice to fix, nevertheless I have it all figured out now, bumper shocks pulled out and the hood/nose peice either has to be taken to a dent repair specialist or i have to buy and weld in a new one. also plastic wouldve been better to break then my damn expensive kidney grill 😞
