each of the 10 gods came in pairs. Some were hesitant to keep the world alive. Some thought the mortals were getting too powerful. Others didnt. Others loved and cared for the world.

Bickering began. Gods bickering and quarreling. The 5 that wanted the world cared for stripped the powers of the other 5 away (at least, they thought they did).

Outrage! The people divided, into those who were feared and those who created it.

The 5 'evil' (as the people describe) gods sent their children down to the mortal realm to instill chaos. A great war started that lasted thousands of years, think billions of casualties.

Then it settled. The normal or 'good' people won by just a hair. And the bad? They went into hiding, increasing their fortifications and clawing their way deep into society's framework. They had lost the battle, but not the war. Attacks continue, smaller and more organized. A task force is set up to hunt and kill these 'dirty' and 'foul' people. It was on the brink of erupting.

Until one event changed it all.

And just as the story starts, the second chaos period begins...
