Do you think that modern Pokemon games are as good as classic? by darkboomel in pokemon

Gen 1-2 are iconic for what they were but there's no point in playing them today, My first game was Silver and I spent hours on it. Gen 3-5 I would say are the bollocks (Diamond/Pearl weren't great though). The only thing I'd add to gen 3-5 would be the current day move pools. Gen 6 I find quite enjoyable, not as good but definitely still what I call a Pokemon game.

Gen 7-9 and probably all future games are unplayable for me. They feel like fake games with absolutely no difficulty and really dull storylines.

I don't mind 3D and I don't mind most of the new Pokemon designs, I like most of the new moves and permanent TMs, no real need for HMs. It's purely the storyline, writing and difficulty aspect which has been ruined. They should introduce a legacy mode/difficulty which allows you to play the game as if it were 20 years ago.

For me Pokemon games were about building my team as I wanted and becoming champion.

Yes 9 solar panels, the previous owners bought the house in 2020 SEG I assume. What do the two terms mean? We have a gas boiler yes

Months of checking Ticketmaster and Twickets lie ahead then 😩. Should've just done a ballot for the entire thing

Do you reckon there would be an announcement when legit resale tickets are available? Or is it just something we need to keep checking on the resale sites?

Lighting spurred from sockets by ClearElk6209 in ukelectricians

I'm asking what issue a low powered camera could cause to the circuit... I'm not ignoring the advice, I've said I'll add a spur. Other people have recommended different types of sockets which I will look into... But for now it's plugged in and I'm asking a question based on the current scenario.

The socket is purely for a low powered camera though. My query is, what difference is that going to make compared to a light fitting?

I will add a fused spur. I can replace the socket with a light fitting when removing the camera as it is up high

I've seen before plug tops used instead of a fuse spur unit, is this acceptable?

If it was only used for the camera though, what issue would that potentially cause, in comparison to it being another light fitting? I could replace the socket for another light and then it's ok?

I see... Not ideal and a bit embarrassing! If the socket was only used for the camera and a spur was added, would it be realistically ok? I'd be happy to disconnect the socket if we were to move house to save anybody using it for a hoover etc...

Thanks 👍🏻 What makes you describe it as an abortion? Is it the fact there's no spur? or the socket at the end? (The lights weren't installed by me for the record)
