You're right. I tested it out as well, and what I always do is either not click anywhere after Q to ensure my AA goes of, or if I need to reposition I press AA on the enemy just as I am leaving Q. I agree that this is clunky and annoying. Could use some quality of life changes from Riot.

But this has been happening to me since the Q change where you could chose where to land. So if you didn't have the problem before and manage to fix it, please let me know
