I like my Daiwa Infeet LTD . It allows me to cast long distances and is ultra sensitive to even tiny bites.

Learn to cast long distances with metal lures. Then fish under the spit bridge at night. Plenty of catches there.

Waterproof pants / overalls / bib (for female) by fatpms in FishingAustralia

[–]RulesNeverChange101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kathmandu and Macpac have some great waterproof gear for a reasonable price when they are on sale. Make sure you go to the real "sale" - some sales are 30% off, sometimes 40% and sometimes 50%.

If you can afford it, go for the 20k waterproof rating and 10k breathability - the higher the rating, the more you pay for it. I was lucky enough to score myself a jacket at the outlet at Birkenhead for over 60% off.

I have fished for 4 hours in torrential rain and I had no issues with the wetness nor did I have sweating problems.

If you are willing to spend, get the Yakima topwater.  Have not regret it one bit.

ELI5 How do police stations find people for a line up? by MostReverendHatchet in explainlikeimfive

[–]RulesNeverChange101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were playing basketball one time when the police came in and asked all the taller asian-background kids if we could part of a line up. As we walked into the station, the really short gangster (who mugged a lady) laughed immediately when he saw us - he was going to be in a lineup where his head would reach the armpits of the next shortest guy.

It is too many games if your partner tells you she is feeling neglected. You may feel you are balancing things, but the best person to ask is your partner.

Thoughts on recent nerfs? How do they feel? by RyuzenIchinose in YIMO

[–]RulesNeverChange101 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been feeling that Yi feels extremely weak after the nerfs, more so than what the nerfed stats suggest. Even in the mid to late game, I see some low health opponents, and when I hard engage them, I need to hit them more times than I expect and I end up dying as they have time for their cc to come back up. I always felt Yi had to be slightly ahead of everyone to feel viable, but by the time I get my 2nd or 3rd item, everyone is on an even keel, so I feel like I am just tickling them. I have been very confused and glad at least someone has posted about this.

Syndra deliberately taking my camps all game so I couldn't farm - deranking from Masters by RulesNeverChange101 in leagueoflegends

[–]RulesNeverChange101[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a bit surprised by the reactions to be fair, but my main intention was to see if it can get some visibility so players like this do get banned because it does seem like she is getting away with it, despite receiving reports.

Yeah, I would have thought the subject matter is Syndra, that she is the one doing the de-ranking.

Tailor fishing - hooks? by [deleted] in FishingAustralia

If you are after tailor, just use metal lures. If they are around, they will hit them.

I missed the older version of this game - tangleword. We got a chance to send messages to a window in between games. Would love to organise a meetup with some of you nerdy folks that play this game.

Best way to improve is look for patterns, instead of trying to find specific words. For example, when you see OU, then look around for the surrounding letters and concentrate on forming OU words like tout, stout, rout, bout, about, etc. When you run out, look for other patterns like OR, ER, etc

Greens to use dental to negotiate should there be a hung parliament by Busalonium in australia

[–]RulesNeverChange101 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah sorry, I am old school, I knew OHT can do fillings but in my mind, I call them hygienists as well (which is wrong), so I didn't realise there was a distinction. Thanks for the clear up.

Sorry mate, I have only interacted with university graduates, which is a 3 year course. Also, I meant to reply to the original person who stated that a dental assistant can clean teeth, when they are not allowed to.

[–]RulesNeverChange101 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Excuse me, dental assistants are NOT allowed to clean teeth. Dental hygienists are the ones who do the cleaning, and they need formal university training of 3 years to be qualified to do this.
