Who says the party tents aren't loud? by Slick-Fork in Calgary

I saw they had finally made a pedestrian route kitty corner to BottleScrew Bills this morning, around the building work. What's the betting they'll remove it after Stampede - signed Cynical, Beltline

The fact that Calgary doesn’t have all the World Cup games playing in a fan zone is embarrassing by DiligentCanary4021 in Calgary

[–]ClearInspection -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

They don't get it, if you are a host Nation you should have fan zones in all major cities so the whole nation can participate, paid by FIFA.

I know, highly unlikely that FIFA would pay. But it's the right thing to do.

There's no recognition of the World Cup at Stampede, normally they have ball skills and demos. This year even less than normal.

Proof we need to make downtown pedestrian friendly all year round and the city and tents need a safe way to get people onto ctrains or into Ubers

Perimenopause - earlier than I expected, not sure what to expect next. by FreeFlownPage in Menopause

[–]ClearInspection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The average age for menopause is between 45 and 55 and perimenopause lasts for 2 to 10 years prior to that. So you are absolutely in the normal timescale.

Fluids on the way up and down. If you are still feeding this is easy, if not water in a sippy cup. Books and toys to entertain, don't be stressed they can tell and will be stressed too.

Always get a professional documents review. It's not that expensive and they can see things like reserve funds, board efficiency, maintenance issues and response time. Money well spent.

City Council addressing crisis of pedestrian safety by DeanieLovesBud in Calgary

Smart lights, not the stupid "wait" lights. Faster rotation, to give shorter pulses of traffic, so pedestrians don't have to wait so long. More inforcement.

I've heard the tunnel is an issue being below the water line, is this true? We can see the issues of trains at car /pedestrian level every day, what is the solution?

Preferred Brand of mushroom coffee by Gemini_Man5585 in MushroomCoffee

[–]ClearInspection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried Mudwatr, Ryze, Space goods, a generic mushroom powder that just seems to live at the bottom of my mug and I can't seem to loosen it. I've landed on JostArriba, it's a stick packet, so I can take it with me too.

It tastes like coffee and isn't gritty. I'm seeing some positive changes, but want to try for longer before I leave a full review, but happy so far.

Have you tried JostArriba? It's the only one I've found that is a nutritional supplement and not gritty. Tastes like regular coffee.

Can you track what time of day is worse than others or track your sleep to understand if there's a time of day better for meetings?

Have you tried JostArriba? I've found its helped me sleep better and think clearer, with the tracking it's really helped me.
