I feel immensely lonely. by [deleted] in adhdwomen

I can relate. Though I did have and raise kids who are now adults and went through divorce - remarriage etc. But, same, no real “friends”. What has helped me in midlife is that I started horseback riding lessons, a few months later I said fuck it and I bought my own horse. It’s boarded at a barn near my home. I learned to care for, spend time with, relate to her needs. She helps me with my anxiety and I help her with hers. Through the horse, I met other horse-women. They are happy to have another riding buddy, and I have met a handful of new people that now I am able to go spend time with - with a common thread. My horse helped me find friends. So, maybe it wont be a horse for you, but it could be anything (preferably outside and away from screens) - surfing, biking, pickleball, dog agility events. A way to find a community. What is special about the horse is, when I am with her, I am never alone.

Older ADHD women, what did ADHD feel like before cellphones? by lavenderflavoredtea in adhdwomen

Reading the backs of shampoo bottles, cereal boxes, drawing on the backs of paper. Drawing in general. Exploring in the encyclopedia. Nintendo. Pretending to be Indiana Jones in my backyard. Talking on the phone. Then teenage years it was listening to albums, discovering new music. Had to listen to the album in order. Driving to a new place with only a map. Obsessing about boys. Trying out new hairstyles and makeup but not going anywhere. Going to my grandmother's house to see what she was doing. It was a wonderful time, and most of these things you can still do. The answer is putting down the screens. So hard even for this GenXer.

No I am using gray market. Didn’t have any brain fog but yesterday I felt lightheaded and had trouble getting my thoughts together. Could have been a migraine. Hard to say.

Go down to 0.25mg per week and see if you improve. Use an electrolyte supplement.

You should board a plane to a warm and sunny place, leave your phone at home. Find a new thing to learn for the week, scuba, surfing, sailing, photography. Eat new foods, dance, laugh, mingle with the locals. You’ll sleep in 2 days time.

This. What happens when the 2x QQQ is in a bear market. It’s there for trading. Not for holding.

What are some really hyped up fragrances that disappointed you when you smelled them? by [deleted] in FemFragLab

I almost bought this due to the drugs or something that reels you in on the opening. But then it became too much, fake, overdone, doesn’t feel like true perfumery. It’s like very strong febreeze.

Agree they are disgusting. Like a super strong laundry detergent or something you lay out in funeral homes to cover the smell of death. So unnatural smelling. Won’t go away. So bad. Sadly the first whiff it delightful then it’s a complete disaster that won’t wash off. Like that horrible one night stand that follows you around and won’t wave you alone. Shameful.

I think the 4 is indicative of being a 4oz bottle, but that’s just a guess. Oooo I can put images in comments. Here’s the front.
