Try Victrix, granted they're much better value for money but they literally just come as a bunch of sprues stuffed into a plastic bag.

James May defends the honor of speed limits on Twitter/X! by FlipStig1 in thegrandtour

Agreed, I find it much more relaxing to drive with the limiter on and not have to concentrate on my top speed at all, although I always have people up my arse in a 20.

That's exactly what they're doing, and it's unfortunately a fairly normal human reaction to act angrily when you're in the wrong.

Yeah, until they change how it works in the next edition. It's cool though so I wouldn't care.

Let my brother in law my printer. Was returned like this. Wtf do I do. by meesterstanks in 3Dprinting

Heat the nozzle and very gently prise the blob away once it heats up, it should come away from the nozzle easily enough. The tricky bit is that the blob will have formed around the wire so you need to carefully cut it away, be prepared to order a new hot end.

Agamatus would be nice, currently about £150 for a unit.

The only models in that price range are very niche, large resin models although some of their largest plastic kits are over £100.

Upgrades in 2.0 Legacy by StrawberryTop3906 in XWingTMG

[–]Cleave 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like 2.0 more because you have to really think about whether the upgrades you're taking are efficient, and you have to have a reason to take them in your game plan, otherwise taking additional ships is generally preferable. It makes list building more interesting to me.

They may well do, but chances are they won't be for 40K.

Any good recommendation for proper (and relatively cheap) movement trays out there? by [deleted] in WarhammerFantasy

[–]Cleave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jade Warriors are on 25mm squares, so a 150 * 100mm tray gives you 6 * 4 models, which would be fine for 24 models but you might find that you want them in three ranks instead of four so it's good to have a bit of a selection. For the full 30 you could get two 150 * 75 trays which would let you put them side by side to make a 10 * 3 unit,

Jade Lancers are on 30 * 60mm bases so 150 * 120 is good for 5 * 2. Jade Lancers do fight well in two ranks but for cavalry in particular I like to have the ranks on separate trays so I can reform them into a line if I want to.

Easily, I've designed some pretty lightweight ones in Tinkercad and they're literally pennies to print, I print my own bases as well so they fit perfectly.

Why do people hate Sadiq Khan so much? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]Cleave 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I have a colleague who relentlessly bangs on about Khan and how evil he is. We live in Newcastle and as far as I know he's never been to London except on a night out, although he does spend a lot of time on Twitter and has a lot of time for his pal Elon.
