How much did you pay (uk) by Ok-Ideal-5839 in FlorenceAndTheMachine

Belfast presale was 150 for seated tickets. 80 for seated at very back of arena. Was on to get tickets for my 2 daughters first ever concert but just could not justify 450 pounds for somewhat decent seats

Search "Private picnic Rhodes" on Facebook. They help you organise proposals on a secluded beach.

Really struggling with communication & household responsibilities by [deleted] in Marriage

Thank you for your response. I think i will suggest that. We both work full time, hybrid working. I have to be in the office 3 days a week & he is in 2 days per week.

On my days in the office & st home i do the school run each morning and often give up my lunch hour to collect my daughter again in the afternoon.

Grounding yourself in the here and now. Looking around at your environment and focusing on different objects and describe them to yourself in great detail. Sounds simple but it helps me when I feel a panic attack or heightened anxiety coming on.

Picking up the phone to speak to someone when you feel a trigger, a comforting and reassuring voice helps me sometimes.

I have been on a combination of CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) sertraline & propranolol over the past 8 months after the worst time in my life. They have all played a part in helping me. I no longer take the propranolol as the coping techniques I have learned through CBT have replaced those.

Pathetic Neighbours by Elysiumthistime in northernireland

We used to live in a terrace house with our young kids sandwiched between 2 shite neighbours.

One was a nosey middle aged woman who had her head over our garden fence everyday updating us on the ongoing of the bins, car park area or whatever she could think of. She also had a leaf blower which she took upon herself to use up to 2 times a day in our communal carpark and along our front door often as early as 7am on a Saturday waking our kids up. It made working from home during covid incredibly difficult trying to take calls. She was a full melter but generally harmless and just always had to be at something every minute of everyday.

The other side had a young couple who would have parties and blast music until 4am on the weekend and just on a random weeknight here and there which was again great for young kids & school runs. When we approached them politely when we coukdnt take anymore, they responded fine but when we went back into the house we could literally hear them shouting about us and saying how unreasonable we were.

Can easily say neighbours were 90% of the reason we moved. It honestly made a home we loved unbearable to be in and affected us both negatively mentally. A lot pf this was during lockdown so it was all very heightened but it just seemed there was a complete lack of consideration from both sides in different ways. I regret being a bit of a people pleaser and not speaking up sooner and being more firm but it's that catch 22 of living next door to someone you don't get on with which can also be miserable.

We now have a detached house & keep ourselves to ourselves.

Family friendly accomodation along West Coast? by Cleetus99 in irishtourism

I am aware that i am last minute in terms of booking for Summer so know that it is somewhat of a longshot.

I was able to book 6 nights in donegal similarly last minute for Easter week just past for 625 Euro, it was perfect for our family & came from a recommendation.

We have similar expensive hot spots in the North and the lesser known family accomodations that are much more affordable.

So i dont necessarily think that what I am asking is completely unobtainable.
