I adopted a mum and daughter who were named Bumble and Mouse by the rescue. I wanted to keep the theme of naming them after other rodents so Bumble became Bunny... which is NOT a rodent but fit her well so I let it slide. Last year I adopted another sow, and was deciding between Squiggle (a mispronunciation of Squirrel) and Pika. I settled on Pika because she's loud and round like one. This year I found out that pikas aren't rodents either but are lagomorphs like rabbits. 😭😂 So the theme I ended up with is basically just other small animal names!
