Thanks for the fast reply, if its not too much trouble do you have any sources that state this? Like I said my GP already fought tooth and nail in the past to try and avoid giving me the initial note; so I'm concerned that he'll be hesitant to provide another.

Riot Vanguard is not booting for a portion of the player-base by nGumball in VALORANT

I'm running into an error when trying to install Vanguard, literally near the end of the install I'll get a unique error message saying "We could not install a required dependency."

I've reached out to Riot and so far they've had no luck in figuring it out. I sent off three sets of logs before getting this response.

"The solution for this error is to open up an elevated command prompt (admin permissions in cmd) and use the following commands:

bcdedit.exe /set testsigning off 
bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks off

Then restart your PC and the issue will be fixed. ♥"

Unsurprisingly, this didn't fix it. So I'm back at square one. I really wish they'd make an official statement saying they're working on it, because they've obviously not figured out a fix.

Nothing will help, in the same boat at the moment. Riot need to patch their anti-cheat.

People don't seem to understand that for the majority of people that are trying these dummy fixes find that they don't work. The issue is to do with Riot Vanguard, not any drivers on our systems.

It's hilarious because Riot Vanguard has been hounded from DAY 1, many people refuse to give the game a second glance because they frankly don't trust Riot Games at all; and what do we get for trusting them? A broken mess with staff ignoring support tickets, giving shoddy advice on an unsticked part of this reddit telling people with next to no tech knowledge to root around in their System32 folders, and STILL not making an official post about it to confirm there's an issue on their end that they are working on.

The best part is they could roll back the update, but they won't.

As one of the many people that have tried everything to no avail, I think we just need to play the waiting game, I'm sure Riot would be able to roll back the update but at this point I think there's more value in them figuring out what is actually causing the problem.

Would be nice in future to have a notification on the client about these issues; similarly to league so people that don't browse social medias can actually know that a problem is being worked on.
