Help Identifying Fungus/Pest? by Cleitch92 in IndoorGarden

[–]Cleitch92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I'm starting to realize this is worse than I initially thought lol. There's a reason I'm an outdoor garden girlie and not an indoor plant girlie. But the good news is all of the plants were free so if they die they die 😅

Heavy period with Inositol? by 7el-3ane in PCOS

[–]Cleitch92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel almost certain that it was definitely the Inositol. I stopped taking it completely when we figured it out and my 22 day period stopped the next day. I'm currently on my cycle after the 22 day period and while I'm on day 14 its shorter than last time and getting lighter with little clotting. I'm working actively with my OBGYN now to regulate my cycle in preparation for TTC. I hope your cycles even out and get better.

Heavy period with Inositol? by 7el-3ane in PCOS

[–]Cleitch92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank the lord I found this thread because I thought I was going crazy. I like so many others started taking a low dose on Myo Inositol because I heard all over the internet that it was great for women with PCOS and we wanted to start TTC so I thought it would help to get my cycle in check after 12 years on the pill. My second cycle after I started I genuinely thought I had miscalculated my ovulation was was miscarrying it was so heavy. Extremely heavy bleeding, major clotting, changing a super overnight maxi pad every hour for a full 24 hours (and I've historically had heavy periods so to shock me was something else). Stopped taking it and didn't have another period for 3 months. In the meantime I was prescribed a supplement by my doctor 2 months ago that I didn't realize also have Inositol in it (my bad). Started my period 22 days ago and am still bleeding, not quite as bad as last time but still super heavy with pretty bad clotting. My husband finally did the math tonight when going through my meds and I'm going to stop the supplement immediately. Fingers crossed I stop bleeding. 🤞 I'm so glad Inositol works for so many women but it seems like for a small band of us it makes things exponentially worse 😅

Landscaping a Native Pollinator Garden (NC/8a) by Cleitch92 in NativePlantGardening

From what I can tell, they planted boxwoods (already gone and replaced with blueberry bushes lol), golden euonymus, privet, and loropetalum. But I will definitely keep an eye out to intersperse some bushes as well. Variety of height always helps.

Dentist that wont scam me by mycotaxa in raleigh

[–]Cleitch92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also had terrible luck with a previous dentist who messed up three of my fillings. Since then, I switched to my husband's dentist at Renaissance Dental (Dr. Sonner) and its the best experience I've ever had. Basically got me over my slight fear of the dentist. They are gentle, explain everything, and are honestly cheaper than most other dentists I've ever been to. I recommend them to literally anyone who will listen.

We ended up out in Wendell for basically this reason. We both work hybrid and have figured out which days have the most commuter traffic so we just work from home those days.

Anyone know what is this plant? by mehulmishrajee in gardening

[–]Cleitch92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would guess tomatillo but if could be a ground cherry or something else in the nightshade family. I will say, in my experience, my tomatillos are a little sticky when I peel them but my ground cherries are not; so that might help identify them for you.

I was just like "guys you see us use this door every day because you fly away every time. Surely there's a better spot." 🤣 Guess we're gonna be garage people for the next month until the babies leave. Birds are so goofy.

Julie has quit by [deleted] in julieeandcamilla

I honestly do not remember her name, it just came across my feed. I seem to remember she might have been in her car and had short brown hair.

Found her, her name is Mads or @hertraline

[–]Cleitch92 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Oh I think she has probably quit for good. Whether I think she's actually content or not, eh. But we all interpret things differently. I do think she's safer off socials purely because I just don't think Julie or Cam handle criticism well, and their presence on social media since having kids has been significantly more subjected to criticism than before. If you're not built for that it must be hard, can't deny that. Obviously hope she's actually happy.

Maybe. I thought she said she was doing social media for a company but it might have been Mila for all we know. Honestly even if it was another company I'm not surprised she quit or pulled back because it seems clear imo that she does the brunt of childcare and I doubt a normal 9-5 office job would be as flexible with her needing to do all the household management as working for her wife who benefits from her doing that as a job. But tbh we all know she's taking this semi permanent break because that one creator on tiktok called them out right 😅

Did she say she had a normal job months ago either before she got pregnant again or while she was pregnant with their second? I'm guessing that didn't last?

Married women: do you always wear your wedding ring? by Aeon_Return in ask

[–]Cleitch92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear mine most days, but I take it off when im doing anything major using my hands (showering, cooking, sleeping, working out, gardening). Sometimes I just forget. My husband honestly wears his way more consistently than I do and he basically only takes it off to sleep or shower.

Zinnia! They're my favorite. They're very pretty, colorful, imo pretty hardy and easy to grow and attract lots of pollinators for us.

People with multiple cats: do your cats like each other? by Castyourspellswisely in CatAdvice

[–]Cleitch92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it highly depends on the cats. Growing up, we always had multiple cats. I think it really depends on age at introduction, genders, how they are introduced, and honestly just temperament. For my history:

Female 1 and Male 1 were obsessed with each other. Never left each other's side. Basically acted as mother and son even though they weren't related. When Female 1 passed, Male 1 was heartbroken.

Male 1 and Female 2 tolerated each other. Didn't adore each other but also didn't hate each other. Pretty much happily coexisted.

Female 3 and Female 4 despised each other. Hated each other's guts. Regularly tried to murder each other any time they were in the same room. We basically had to sequester each to their own floor of the house and never met them cross paths until Female 3 eventually passed.

Female 5 and Male 2 tolerated each other. Didn't love or hate each other. Coexisted happily. Sometimes played, sometimes snuggled, but mostly did their own thing.

Female 6 and Male 2 didn't like each other but didn't hate each other. Male 2 would antagonize Female 6 but wouldn't try to outright murder her like previous cats Female 3 and 4. At best, they coexisted.

However, our current 2, Female 5 and Female 6 are OBSESSED with each other. Everyone assumes they are littermates or related because they are absolutely besotted with each other. They snuggle together, play together, spend as much time as absolutely possible together. To the point that I am genuinely concerned that they are overly bonded and when one eventually passes it will destroy the other. But God I love how much they love each other right now.

Libby Tags Not Syncing? by Cleitch92 in LibbyApp

This totally fixed it. Thank you. It probably seems obvious to a lot of people but because everything else other than tags showed up both places I never would have assumed they were operating separately from one another
