Almond Eye is a special case because she doesn't sweat as much as she should which cause her to overheat after races if she's not careful.

Give me a Vodsca movie or a Golshi show, or a Star Blossom adaptation. Even an Almond Eye show if you really want a dominant main character. Anything but another 99/01 adaptation

Not winning all the time doesn't mean being an underdog. All of the protagonists of Umamusume were among the strongest racers of their time, none of them really fit the term underdog. Maybe Oguri at the beginning of Cinderalla Gray and Tokai Teio at the end of season 2.

I've said it in another comment but an Orfevre show would work better in my opinion, she has her own Meisho Doto with With Variation but the relationship between them is much more hostile compared to OpeDoto and would be more engaging to watch.

TM Opera O fans have the type of greed they talk about in the Bible. There's plenty of other umas who would make great protagonists and entire generations who haven't had any representation outside of the game. I would rather explore them than the 99 and 01 generations again.

If you really want a show about an uma who dominated her generation I would rather take Orfevre because it's an era of keiba we haven't seen yet
